About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Great course
Course is very challenging and fun to play. Hats off thr grounds keeper as the greens are immaculate condition. I just wish it was closer to me and I would play more often here

Great layout in great shape
Played this course many moons ago and recently rediscovered it. They layout is beautiful especially in the shape it’s in right now. It’s challenging but pretty forgiving for those that sometimes leave a shot or 2 (or 20) out right.

Great Day as Always!
Another outstanding day at Eagle Chase! Pro shop personnel are always friendly and very accommodating! Great layout, lots of changes in elevation. Greens were just about back to normal from a recent punching and they rolled true but just a tad slow. Love this course and I try to get our here once or twice a month.

Another great day at the Eagle
There are 3 courses I play on a regular basis and this is one of them. I've played it for years and it is like an old friend (until it takes my best golf balls!).
Staff was super friendly as usual and even though the greens had just been lightly punched, they were in great shape. Recent rains have caused the fairways to come in nicely...everything was green and full of life.
On this particular day we had a twosome in front of us and one was walking. I've walked this course many times, but unless a person is in top shape, a cart should be used (my walking days on this course have passed). The older gentleman did okay but his pace was understandably slow causing a little back up.
Tip: If you plan to walk this course, do not try to carry more than 4 clubs including the putter :-)

Awesome day of golf
Eagle Chase is a Needle in the haystack. It's a beautiful course in great condition that not a lot of people know about. I guess no one wants to make the 30 minute drive outside of Charlotte for a great golfing experience. This was my 2nd time playing and the course has been in great condition both times. Nice spacious driving range to warmup. Challenging course with a lot of elevation changes. Greens were immaculate. The only downside (and the only reason I wasn't 5-stars for everything) is there was no "19th hole." They do sell beer and limited food from a kitchenette in the clubhouse, but a nice stiff drink after a tough round would be great.

Eagle Chase is a Golfers Nirvana
The location is heaven. Rolling picturesque vistas. Gods backyard The course is perfect condition. Greens are second to none. Layout is top tier. I play a lot of business golf. DC. Baltimore. Richmond. Atlanta. Charlotte. Atlanta. Augusta. Never played a golf course like this for less than $100. A true gem. I have been told by friends in Charlotte area for years to go experience Eagle Chase. Second time in a few weeks now. I am now addicted to Eagle Chase. Tom Jackson is one of the best. Litchfield. The Cliffs. Edisto. Stoney Point. Mount Vintage. Eagle Chase is his best. Eagle Chase is the best. At this price point or $100. Worth the drive or the flight. A bucket list play for anyone who appreciates golf heaven. The way golf was meant to be enjoyed. You and friend and Nature and golf. Perfect.
