About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Beautiful course.
Love the course, love the staff, hate the pace of play, mostly due to the two dollar club. Two dollar club is a group of guys that play there every day, always in groups of four or five, and they take pride in playing as slow as possible, and never letting anyone play through. I know they spend allot of money at the course, so they feel they can do whatever they like. Me and my sons used to play there at least twice a week, now we are looking at other courses.

We have played this course a few times. We enjoy the topography of the course. The elevation changes makes you feel like you are in the foothills and not Marshville. The staff and everyone we have met have been super friendly. Lastly this course is a great value.

Course is fun to play a lot of hills and turns very challenging greens in great shape but make you work for that good score.

Nice course, good value
Nice layout, elevation changes are cool given so many courses in the area have very little change throughout the course. Greens were green and rolled pretty true albeit a touch slow. Would have been nice if they were a little faster, but they were well maintained and it had rained a bit so maybe future rounds as we get into summer will be like that. It’s not an easy course particularly the first time playing with a bunch of hazards. But it was a lot of fun, and knowing the dog legs, where to miss, etc. next round will be even more fun. It’s a bit of a drive from uptown CLT area, but worth it for a good price here and there. Won’t be weekly but I’m sure I’ll be back plenty. A nice pavilion looking building is under construction now - fingers crossed it’ll be a nice place to chill after a round and enjoy a beer.

Will play here again
Very nice practice facilities - easy to warm up. Many interesting holes. Greens in great shape - still waiting for Bermuda fairways and tees to come in. Lots of elevation changes - it really helped to have an experienced player in our group. Even the bunkers were in pretty good shape. I'll most definitely play here again. Staff are wonderfully friendly.

A Must Play
Everything was perfect today. Fairways coming in nicely, the greens fast and the weather perfect. I must give a shout-out to the starter today. The rest of my group was late for our tee time. He went out of his way to accommodate us and flip a couple of tee times. Kudos to Eagle Chase. A joy to play.

Such a fun course
Beautiful and challenging but not too hard. Only cons are the cartpaths. In my top 5 along with rocky river and red bridge
