About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Solid no frills course
Good course for the money - carts, cart paths, and some fairways were in pretty poor condition but you can’t beat the elevation changes on most the holes. Different from most courses around Charlotte in a good way.

Great day at Eagle Chase
I have been a member at Eagle Chase in the past and enjoy it whenever I can get back. Lots of great memories are there as well as several hundred of my lost balls!
Work has begun in earnest repairing the paths...my back and teeth thank you! The cutting of more trees pains me (the main reason I fell in love with the course years ago) and I hope they are finished. Air for the greens/tees is important, as we all know, so I understand why it is helpful in those areas. Just as it is with every course that has parallel play, it would be great if they would plant some fast growing evergreens to fill in bare spots and separate the fairways...my least favorite thing to experience on any course is when I can see and/or hear other groups. We were surprised at how nice the greens are for this time of year...whatever they are doing, it is working perfectly.
As usual, the staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Already looking forward to my next round there.

Course so nice I played it twice
I was on a golf trip in Charlotte and played Eagle Chase on morning I was driving back to Atlanta. I ended up playing another 18 holes because of how... blissful of a golf experience this was. More grass per square inch than any other public course I've played. Kudos to the staff!

Christmas Eve Golf
Staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great time at the course.
For a wet, cold day, course was in great shape, especially the greens.

Great course, better greens
This is a great course, worth the drive from Charlotte. Greens are excellent. They are working on the cart paths for a smoother ride. Clubhouse/pro shop is small and unimpressive. A great golf value overall.

Great Day of Golf
Love this track! Pro shop is very friendly and accommodating. Course is in great shape and some work being done on the cart paths as well. Greens rolled true, maybe a tad slow (for me anyway) and look awesome! Cannot wait to return for another round! Thanks!

Excellent Track
Can see why this course is #1 on most lists for Charlotte. Wish it was closer to city, but well worth the drive out. Played off the tips and it was tough. Excellent tees,, fairways & greens for this time of year

Weather was a little chilly and a tad windy, but still a great day overall. Course is in great shape, greens were a little slick but I love them fast, just don't be above the hole! They are also working on the cart paths which is outstanding! Pro shop is always friendly and accommodating. Love playing at Eagle Chase!
