About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

One the best courses in the Charlotte area
This course is great!!! The layout is nice and fair. When it rains for days, this course is dryer than any course in Charlotte. The staff is friendly and the cost is so reasonable. Love this course.

Golf
Played on a Saturday. Course was crowded. Still played 18 in 4 hrs. Course was in GREAT shape. Greens where fast and true. Fairways where damp but still rolled good. Great value worth the drive. I’ll be back

Long time away
Its been over 10years since last playing here, a mini road trip even from Matthews. I found the course uncrowded, greens with top dressing, cart paths are a sea of broken pieces and tree roots. Good mix of holes and nice green complexes. Will be back.

But instead of paving the parking lot they should have done the lousy cart paths!

Great course!
Eagle Chase is a difficult but fair course in great shape with some of the nicest greens in the area. The fairways are lush and the rough fair but punishing. I was surprised by the elevation changes on almost every hole. The course has great character and the staff were pleasant.

How Do They Do It?
Every other course has some type of condition issue all year long but Eagle Chase seems to be perfect 12 months a year!

Love the course, hate gold now.
I love playing this course and like everything about it. But, the online tee time reservations go through golf now who I find impossible to deal with. Something came up, so I had to cancel today’s play. Yesterday, i called the course and he canceled it there but advised me to call Golf Now. I tried that and found it impossible to cancel with the choices given me by phone and also could not find where to cancel online either. I won’t use the online tee time reservation system again, will call directly and take my chances .
