About
Eagle Chase Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northern Union County, surrounded by nothing but acres of countryside and farmland. The secluded locale is ideal for golf, especially since it is conveniently situated less than an hour from Charlotte. The course tumbles across lush green hills and valleys, providing almost every hole with an elevated tee or green. The undulating layout definitely plays like a mountain golf course with even lies being hard to find and a few blind shots to contend with. Water hazards come into play on seven holes, including the first three and the 12th hole, an uphill par 3 that is one of the golf course's most difficult. In addition to the course, Eagle Chase G.C. also offers a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

Greens in great shape. Pace of play was right at 4 hours. For those who haven't played here, this course is not walk-able, the course is definitely not wide open, and a few of the tee shots are intimidating, but overall the course is fair enough for the average golfer.

I was a single and every group I reached waved me on through without my even having to ask. I finished all 18 holes in 90 minutes!!!

Pleasantly Surprised
I was told about Eagle Chase last week by a friend. It was just as he described.....back road, back road, back road then arrive at a great course. Super nice staff, great course, practice facilities and fair prices. This may become my new go-to.

Great layout, nice greens, good value
When we arrived, our reservation allegedly was not transferred from GolfNow to the course. Luckily they had a cancellation and fit us in. Tees, fairways, bunkers, and greens all great. Cart paths are a mess, so bad it discourages people from using them and ruts forming off path. No drink cart on Sunday at noon? Missed opportunity. Would like to see more options for lunch/snack bar. Should consider bringing in a food truck on the weekends. Otherwise great course and great value. We will be back but we will pack our lunch and beverages

Great course
The course was in great shape. Greens were excellent. Only negative is the conditions of the cart path. Will go back for sure. Great course away from the typically overplayed courses.

Great Course
Love playing Eagle Chase. The greens are in fantastic shape right now. It’s gotten a bit more crowded then it used to be, but so have most courses since Covid 19.

Course was in outstanding shape, not a blade of grass out of place! Greens may have been a tad slower than what I like but that's the only "complaint" I could possibly think of.

Excellent condition
Play this course twice a week. It’s in fantastic condition. Greens are pure and true with a great roll. Fairways are perfect. The staff is excellent and always glad to see you. There is no better course in the Charlotte area.

Monroe CC is much better
Price was good for 9 holes ($42) for my son and I (I am a senior) but the greens were punched with sand and they did not tell us this when we checked in. The course is a little better than a cow pasture but not a lot. Go to Monroe Country Club if you want to play a good course in this area. We originally went to Monroe CC but it was closed on Monday even though the web site said it was open.

Nice Hot Day at Eagle Chase
Had a great time showing a buddy the course fr the first time today. I have played here 4 times in the last couple months and love it each time. One of my favorite courses in NC. Unfortunate that the greens had been aerated but was still a great time!

Very nice course for the money!
Took a chance on this course and really enjoyed it! Challenging but fun. Greens were a bit thin but had top dressing on them. They putted well! Would play again!
