A really fun course

As a senior golfer, I found playing this course to be very enjoyable. Course is in great condition, greens rolled really well.. Even though it is a hour drive, we are already planning to return.

Not what I was looking for!

It is not easy to go with a negative review but I feel is right for the Golfnow members to do what is fair. The Golf course has very nice restaurant and club house , great food and nice people. But the golf course has no fairways and if you move the ball around on what you may think is suppose to be a fairway you may hit into some decent greens. The cart path and overall layout need lots of work. The layout is nice and it does have challenging holes. Dog legs left and right where you need to curve the ball around the trees, greens protected by nice bunkers with decent sand and some ponds in front or on the side. The greens were not cut and rolled so they were slower but they roll ok once you get used with the speed. Some fellows in water boots... on hole 10 were hitting balls over a pond in the green... until they run out of balls?! I would not recommend this course as I think it is one in the worst conditions I have played in many years.

A Hidden Gem

Pine Ridge is one of the most enjoyable courses in the Augusta area. After a beautiful drive through the peach orchards of Edgefield County, you'll come to Pine Ridge and enjoy a round wheather you're a high handicapper or a scratch golfer.

Super course

Definitely a hidden secret. Good mix of dogleg left and right holes. Par 5s are reachable. Just a fun course where you can score well. Best kept secret in the Aiken-Augusta area!

Fantastic Round

My friends that live in the area, has been ranting and raving about Pineridge Country Club. I finally decided to give this golf course a chance based on my friends and the reviews from golfnow. Three of my golf buddies made the 1hr trip to this hidden gem, which allotted me the opportunity to spray the ball off tee, because the course is so wide open and allow the usage of the different clubs in my bag. The greens line was true and somewhat slow. I really enjoyed my round and will be visiting again.

Great Hidden Gem

We wanted to try a new course and based on the previous reviews we decided to try Pine Ridge. So glad we did. Not a bad drive from Augusta. Staff is friendly, course is in great shape and although a little hot, couldn't have asked for a better day. Not the hardest course I've played but not the easiest either. All in all a great round. We will definitely be going back to play it again. Also once you're done with your round be sure to stop in a have a burger in the snack bar. The food was great and the Pine Ridge fries are a great side to go with it.

Well worth the drive

This is a great course it is well kept fairways and greens are very good. This is a challenging course. We had a 8:40 tee time and was done by 12:30. So the pace of play was great. I will definitely play there again.

out of the way gem

Almost afraid to say too many good things and let the cat out of the bag.....but, the truth is that the course is a hidden gem. A little out if the way....but worth the drive. Great greens and fairways...overall course condition good. The back nine was especially scenic...some nice golf holes. Friendly staff. Will be going back again.

Another Fun Round at Pine Ridge

Had a great round of golf at Pine Ridge. The staff was courteous and the course conditions were good. Some dead grass clippings were around a few greens and one tee box (#10) had overgrown grass. Otherwise, the greens were firm, rolled consistent. Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape. 2nd time playing here and will return as long as course stays in shape! Hidden jewel for good public golf in the CSRA.

Fantastic Course Hidden in SC

This course was an absolute pleasure to play. Even during the dog days of summer this course is well maintained and played really nicely. I’ll definitely be making more trips to this course. The staff could not have been any nicer and super helpful.
