Always a pleasure. We were a twosome on a Saturday recently, and normally don't get to play through foursomes at other courses, which is fine. Old school rules I have no problem with. However, two groups let us play through. Very friendly atmosphere. A great, traditional country club, and the course is always in great shape, and a pleasant challenge. Two thumbs up.

Stuck behind logjam

Course overall in great shape. I do take exception with the pro shop kids not letting me tee off #10 despite 9 and 10 being wide open saying “We’re not allowed to do that”. Front 9 was stacked so I wound up playing through on almost every hole. Pretty silly actually. At least I brought my own beverages to avoid further financial support of the course.

Great hidden gem

Great layout. Greens were nice fast. Great price for a Sunday during Masters week. Fairways were a little bare but that’s because of cold weather and grass was a little dormant in this time of season. But in best condition for this time of year. Will play again. Friendly staff.

Tees and greens +. Fairways -

Tees and greens were in good shape. But the fairways either need some TLC or a very healthy growing season, possibly both. Great price for playing on Sunday between ANWA and Masters week relative to what other courses were gouging people for. The layout is fantastic. Lots of interesting holes and a decent amount of elevation change.

Poor Conditon

Actual fairway was a premium, grass was sparse and very thin where there should be fairways. Rough was either packed dirt or roots. Greens were the highlight and they weren't anything special. Maybe caught them at the wrong time but in this condition it is not worth the money.
