Lancaster Golf Club

Fly in for The Masters and played with a friend on the way down from the airport. Found a good deal considering it was Masters week. Nice little track and staff was very friendly. Course was in good shape and helped since it was quite breezy. First time to play and we enjoyed the course and the pace of play. Would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Love going down to Lancaster. Course was in transition phase but still fairways in great shape and rough was very playable. Greens were growing in but still rolled good enough. When these greens grow in they will roll fast and nothing is a straight on putt. Great layout that is easily playable from the forward tees but not the same old course as others around. Will keep coming back. Cant beat the island green either.

Course was ok for the season. Want to play again when the Bermuda kicks in. The pro shop staff is friendly and accommodating. . Driving range had no grass to hit from. It was cool to play a Donald Ross design although I was not overly impressed as it was pretty boring except a couple holes

Very nice considering the harsh winter conditions. Let the growing season get going and the will be an excellent course. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Course is decent but it’s very old. Nothing here convinced me to make the Hour drive from Charlotte back here.

Course was in good condition, considering the winter weather and recent rain. Love the classic vibe with only houses on the perimeter of the course. Played in 3 hrs 15 mins. Friendly staff. Can’t wait to get back down there from South Charlotte.

This club was in great shape for a warm February Friday golf. A little windy added to the challenge but a great self pace and warm welcome from the clubhouse.. Greens is great shape, nice sand traps( unfortunately got to pay at the beach several times) but good condition.

We got a $30 Tee time and it was a decent round. The course is in decent shape for the winter and the greens are soft. Greens are pretty wet at times, pretty slow too. I imagine all this will change as weather begins to be more favorable.

I drove over an hour from Charlotte in Dec. and it was well worth it. I’m a 12 handicap and Play lots of golf at quality courses around North and South Carolina. I think the greens on this course are some of the best in the area. They are fast, firm and easy to play on. The course is not long at all and has some pretty good challenging holes. Especially the Par 3 #7 Island shot over water and the longer Par 3 #15 downhill that slope to the right. You can play the back tees and have a fun round.

As usual, course was in good condition, pleasure to play. Extremely windy so leaves are a problem on greens. I have seen them faster but the contours are always a shock to first time players. Took s friiend who had not played there. Didnt believe the elephant story about the last par 3 until he chipped on & 4 putted! At times, wind would actually bow the ball of the green fun roundwhen not in competition.

The greens are soft with a true roll not easy but allow you be aggressive with control. Course layout is very nice island par 3 to combine with a good course maintance and service. Worth the drive from Charlotte.

Other than the 2 hackers rightbib front of us, it was a good day, fairways were in good shape, greens were tough but in good shape, would definitely recommend it.

Course is in good shape but invariably there are one or two extremely slow groups on the course with no ranger to push them. Whole place backs up badly starting on 13. I think I've walked off without playing 18 3-4 times this year. Place is still a great value .
