About
Architect Dennis Griffiths designed this track as a finesse course. He did not produce the typical beach layout when he created this 18-hole design, built in 1988. It has narrow bermudagrass fairways and large bentgrass greens and is bordered on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Holes No. 1 through 15 are short, and the course lulls you up to this point. Then, the last three holes are uncharacteristically difficult.The course is mostly flat, with occasional uneven lies. Some tree-lined fairways have doglegs. The course is always fun to play and an especially fun round of golf for couples.

Great play, too much dew at 9am
We beat the heat of the day, but not much roll after landing. The course is in amazing shape.

This golf course was not easy,
But we enjoyed playing there. I was surprised that golf course etiquette was not followed. Regular golf course dress code is also not followed. It is a beautiful course, and well kept.

Small greens and challenge
Love the course.. Most greens are small, you must be accurate. Hole #9 and #18 are challenging and beautiful. Enjoyed the time.

Little River Golf
Valley at Eastport was in very good condition greens and fairway. Tough hole #17 still don’t know how to play that hole. Good round on a great weather day. Greens rolled true and firm. Fairways plenty of grass with rough playing fairly

Bring Bug Spray
BRING BUG SPRAY IF YOUR PLAY IN THE MORNING. Pretty decent lay out and friendly staff, course plays short even from the blue, Bermuda
grass is tricky but present a good challenge. Greens are small and narrow, yardage seemed short. Overall, if your looking to save money great course, not the place if your looking to play your driver and seek out course amenities. No cart girl.

Okay course
The course was okay. The fairways and greens were good. Pace of play was very slow and we had a group of 2 playing two groups behind us, skip 2 holes and jump in front of us, which made play much slower. No Marshall was evident to control players bad behavior. Probably would have given a much better rating if pace of play was better managed.

Fun layout
Eastport is one of your more economical rounds of golf in the area. The greens are one of the courses better attributes. They are somewhat fast and roll true.
The course isn’t long at all and demands more accuracy than length. My only negative comment would be the pace of play can be slow at times. But if you’re not in a hurry and want to play a course you can score well on if your iron game is solid, this is the place.
