Twenty minutes behind schedule to tee off—-and it only got worse from there. Nearly 3.5 hours for 9 holes! On a perfectly clear day. Just awful.

No fault of the course but from the group behind us one person was complaining that our golf carts were placed while on the green was slowing up their play which it was not. I’ve been playing golf for over 30 years and have never experienced the brashness of the person who approached us. If I were a white person it would have never happened. With Orlando stand your ground law you just can’t argue with ignorance . Never coming to Florida again.

I’ve always liked the lay out of this course. The greens were in very good shape. Nearly every tee box needs work. The gps for the carts is set up terribly. It starts giving caution warnings when you’re on the middle of the fairway, tells you to return to cart path when you’re on the cart path. This has a lot of potential with having new owners. Hopefully it happens.

I haven't been there for a while, but last week I spent a week playing and training there with my kids. It's amazing how this facility has developed over the last few months. The new owner has invested a lot and put a lot of love into it! The range (Trackman) and academy are brilliant. The staff were great, the food delicious and the course really beautiful! We'll be back any time!

The course's new driving range material condition was poor. Right hand driving pegs were broken so I had to use a tee in the gravel. If you're going to have a unique driving range, keep up the maintenance.

Play pace was awful as no ranger was available to provide foursomes with guidance to quicken their play.

Greens rolling true & about a 10 on the stimp. Fairways are still Bermuda giving an “old Florida” feel in the winter time months, sand your divots. Tee boxes are level & pure, practice facilities are top notch. Offering track man, chipping area, putting green & sand/short game area. Highly reccomend!

The course is improving tremendously. Everything from facilities to the staffs, the greens and notably the restaurants. It was a good round for four of us and finished off with a delicious meal that early afternoon. Highly recommended.

you can tell that Rio has come on thru investment, better buggies with sat nav, on course modern rest rooms, updated proshop location & Dining, and a trackman range. plenty of putting and chipping areas too. the greens were really fast and we played on the day before the junior national finals so there were a lot of players on the course practising but we got round in a decent time. my main bug bear was the different handicap indices on the card versus the sat nav - which is the real one!! other than that, the lay out is great, have to plot the ball round a bit more and trees and wildlife aplenty. Love it.
