Rio Pinar Golf

Nice layout. Fairways and greens were in decent condition. Pace of play was very slow. But not a bad course for the money.

Staff very friendly, course very nice, good greens. Very fair price. All good except they let e fivesom oiut if front of us and held us up on every hole. Almost a 5 hr round, should easily have been 4 hrs. All else was very nice.

Staff went above and beyond to get a left handed rental set of clubs for us

Great day on the links! Couse is a good value and close to downtown. Only downside was food availability. Finished our round around 2 and the bar and restaurant were closed!!!

overall a nice layout but the upkeep of the course has been going downhill.great driving range and practice area. will try again.

The course overall was okay. I need to point out that a few of the greens were in pretty bad shape. That is real disappointing when you reach the greens in regulation and you have to putt over surface that has not been maintained well. This is crucial when you have guests that have traveled for a distance to play golf there, passing by other courses that are maintained well.

This was the second time I played Rio Pinar. The first time I had to wait 1 1/2 hours past my tee time because there were no carts available. The second time on February 20th, there was a delay because the course had double booked several foursomes - resulting in an hour delay. Thus the play was very slow. Most greens were in poor shape. However, I played with a couple great guys.

Sparse grass in fairways. Hitting off sandy base on most shots.

Played with my wife(both seniors) and they need to shorten many holes for ladies. Par 5 tee markers were less than 10 yards difference.

We were disappointed in the condition of the course. It was poorly maintained and the greens had a lot of patches that were dead. The fairways had a lot of dead leaves that had not been cleared making it difficult to even see a ball. Had to wait over 30 minutes to finally get on the course even with a tee time which was disappointing. Trying to push through too many people or tee times are too close together. We have played it before and it seems to vary from year to year the condition.
