Rio Pinar Golf

This course was once a PBA stop but today it is worn out. The greens are bad, fairway with a lot of leaves on so sometimes it was hard to find a wihte ball. Switched to orange one.

Bunkers were hard and ties in bad shape. It is sad to see this course gone like this.

Great staff. Starter is the best. Always friendly and funny! He matched me up with 3 pleasant fellas. If and when it rains conditions will be 5 star. Great layout. I don't think there's a hole I don't like. Greens are in good shape. Run true. Teeblox need a little work, but they'll come around when it rains. I'll be back.

The course is super dry and there is too much sand vs grass. Greens are in rough shape

They book tee times way too close together which causes stack up during play. Especially for the price here, I’d expect better pace. Greens were also in pretty bad condition.

Fairways need water greens really need rolled. Lot of digits on greens.

Only talked to a couple staff members but they were helpful.

Get what you pay for.

Course is a little tight on fairways.

Awesome clubhouse. Need drinking water or refreshments cart on course.

I was deeply saddened by how my experience went at Rio Pinar. To start things off the price had increased which was not a big deal as last I was there they were working hard to reseed tee boxes and do course upkeep. The first sign should have been a back nine start. Then the starter wanted to rush my two some off before we were even able to warm up on the range, which then lead to getting backed up behind three groups where the lead of the 3 groups was super slow by hole 4 we had figured out the issue and called the club house with the group behind us multiple times to try to warn them and alert them to how slow the pace of play was. (20min wait minimum off the tee boxes) then we get to the “back nine” and played grounds keepers revenge with grounds keeping staff and carts on the green of a par three. Nice enough guys just trying to do their jobs but sucks to pay the highest rate I’ve ever paid at the course to hit around staff. Not to mention the guys in the gas powered cart not stopping during our back swings and then proceeding to run the edger around the hazards at full throttle. I couldn’t believe it wasn’t scripted. So needless to say I would avoid Rio for a while until prices subside greatly or conditions and management changes. Either way I’m highly disappointed and won’t be going back.

Course in great condition, need rain , but they are watering.

It’s a fantastic feeling to play on a course that all of the ole time greats have played. Highly recommend this course. This is a big boy course with many challenges.

Not sure what was going on but they started our twosome on the back at 2:30. At the turn, it appeared there was a backup because one foresome jumped in to start on #1?! All in all OK we still finished in just under 4 hours.

Only saw the "Cooler Cart" once & the restaurant was closed.

This course needs much attention and much rain! Definitely not a 4 Star. Greens are very unpredictable. Tough to get my golf groove going due to poor pace of play!

Did not see one Marshall the entire 18 holes

Greens needed I little tlc but overall course is a nice layout.

The course was in terrible condition, every part of it.

I enjoy playing Rio, but lately I can't justify paying 50 (afternoon price ) with the way the greens are. Greens are in rough shape/kitchen has limited hours. Overall its a decent course to play, but not with what they are charging
