Eagle's Pointe Golf Club

Sand traps horrible, cart paths horrible, some lakes were brown, some were green. The layout was great with huge potential. For a Davis Love design, he would not be happy to see its current condition

Layout is moderately difficult and fairly interesting, especially on the back nine.

Staff was very friendly and driving range is better than most. Extremely nice to a single desiring to play early before the crowd.

Very fair price...good value...

Now for the minuses...

Does not drain well....

Some greens, especially on back nine were substandard...many areas around greens and tee boxes in poor condition.

Played here last spring and was pleasantly surprised with the course. Fairways are in fairly good condition but the greens are still in need of help. It's a very good value for a "hot deal". The staff is great and take care of you. I know it's under new management and you can tell their working on it.

Course design is good, conditions were disappointing. A little more TLC (and probably $$) and it would be a gem

Good value for the money for this time of year. Very friendly staff and pace of play was excellent. We will definitely be returning for another round.

While a nice layout overall course conditions are not good. Greens are ok but teeing areas, fairways and bunkers are in very poor shape. Staff are friendly but we finished at 4:30 and clubhouse was locked so we could not have a post round beverage. Will not be going back.

Very few holdups, played in 3:15 as a 2-some.. Condition was decent for time of year. Greens were pretty good, true and fast enough. Lots of divots and bare spots on fairway. Okay for winter rules.

Ten years ago I played white tees and white tees can wear you out! Now I (age 78) have moved forward and, while it doesn't change my HC, it is a lot more fun.

Course has plenty of tee options for all abilities. Accuracy is rewarded. The downside was playing the day after a steady rain. Course was extremely wet with standing water on many of the tee boxes. Greens were decent. I’ll try it again when it dries out.

Some of the T boxes were rough and there was a cart path missing on one of the holes. Greens were OK given we were playing in January. Staff was nice and helpful. Not a lot of people playing so the pace was whatever we wanted.

Layout was good, staff was excellent, some T boxes were pretty rugged, greens were good, one of the cart paths was missing / under repair. Holes were challenging. Ok for the price

For this time of year, the course is in good condition & will be getting better with time. Weather was cold to start (10:30) but was excellent for the back nine as the sun was strong & not too windy. Not very busy so pace of play was good as it was cart path only. A totally enjoyable day of golf in late December.
