About
The 18-hole Eagle's Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C. is a public course that opened in 1998. Designed by Davis Love III, Eagle's Pointe measures 6,738 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 130 and a 72.5 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels.
The hallmarks of Eagle's Pointe are its classical, risk-reward design, natural beauty, strategy, variety and superb conditioning, along with outstanding customer service.
Winding through stands of moss-draped live oaks and pines and fresh-water wetlands and lagoons, Eagle's Pointe Golf Club's spacious corridors allow the golfer to keep driver in hand, while its dramatic bunkering, unique green sites and contoured putting surfaces combine to create one of the most exciting venues in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Eagles Pointe is good for beginners
Eagle’s Pointe is a good option for those wanting a less expensive round. The fairways are in decent condition but the greens were really rough, like corduroy. They are working on them so hopefully better next time. Staff is wonderful, very friendly!

Find Another Option
Eagle's Pointe and Crescent Pointe used to be descent courses that were good value. Eagle's Pointe has gone downhill. Not a single tee box was in passable shape. Fairways and greens were in similar condition. You have other better options if you want to play golf in Bluffton. I own a home in the area and even the "local rate" doesn't make it a good value.

Great staff.
Had a great round w/my son. Friendly staff that accommodated anything asked. Played at a great pace and the course was in pretty good condition. The greens are getting better. This course should be good for the summer to play. Fun resort course and the staff welcome you.

you can give me OK conditions on a course but the greens need to roll right.
This was not the case, greens are horrible, bumpy, dead in spots. that ruined a overall nice course.

A great course gone to pot
I've been coming to HHI for 20 years, and we could always count on Eagle's Point to be in good shape and fun to play...That is no longer the case. Greens were poor, fairways were lacking in grass, and it gave the impression that no one cares anymore. Apparently the new ownership has not changed the way forward for the better.

Solid Course, no thrills
First time playing here. 1 or 2 greens were in bad shape, but for the average golfer this course is more than suitable and did not affect putting significantly. Bunkers, both green side and fairway were all flooded and completely unplayable. This was the worst issue at Eagles Pointe. Pace of play wasn’t good, even by Saturday standards, and did have to play with a random in our group of 3. Tight fairways, will need to be good off the tee. It’s not a terrible choice for someone not wanting to pay $100+ a round. The food/bar was awesome and all the staff were super nice and helpful. Be prepared to have a guy offer to ride with you to the parking lot who will immediately start cleaning your clubs in hope of tip. This caught me off guard as most public clubs don’t have this and it didn’t have cash. Good pro shop or mostly Srixon stuff. Would play again if someone else booked this course, but I would look to other courses in the area before I booked at Eagles Pointe again. Solid value Course.

Course is in terrible condition
This course used to be great but no longer. The greens are awful and the bunkers are unplayable. The course was backed up three groups deep so we waited every shot all day on an almost five hour round. The staff is very nice and the sandwiches are great, but that doesn't make up for the course conditions and pace of play.

Needs work
Greens were terrible, fairways were hard ground. Tee boxes were not in good shape either.
Overall, very disappointing.

Not the best conditions
Layout was good but upkeep of course and conditions were bad! Bunkers had no sand and were growing grass. Lakes were weedy and unkept. Greens were poor! Too bad that such a nice layout was in such bad condition.
