stonehouse 9 might kick your rear
played the creek 9 and the stonehouse 9...... the creek 9 was flat and on the verge of boring although it was in great shape....
stonehouse 9 was totally different.... elevation changes and some forced carry....several of the holes played 20% longer into the wind
not worth $80, but $40 or less is a good deal
Course in great shape
Course was great, weather was great and golf was great. Our club (Jorgy Steel Tees) plays here every year for 30+ years and we will continue to do so.
Great staff. Keep up the great work.
Creek and stonehouse
The creek course was a very simple layout, easier flat course. The stonehouse was the 9 I came to play, very challenging and a nice set up. These two nines are the exact opposite of each other. Good green conditions. The weather was brutal, wet and windy, but still great.
Temecula Creek Inn
Staff was very friendly. Pace of play was great. The two nines I played were very different with Stonehouse hilly and the Oaks more traditional. Overall a great experience and very inexpensive.
So disappointed ...
We were looking forward to playing this course ... it looked beautiful from the road. As it turned out, that course was the 9 we did not play. The other 9's were a back and forth flat so-so layout. The worst of it was pace of play. We literally waited on EVERY shot, sometimes as much as 5 minutes. We saw a ranger a few times but he was nothing more than ornamental. Sadly, this bad experience will be our last play at Temecula Creek. Worse yet, it was one of the more expensive courses offered on Golfnow in that area. Don't waste your time.
This course is very user friendly, beautiful, and kept in great condition. One of my playing partners commented that this course was the most fun he'd had in a long time! NICE!!!
An exceptional course. Beautiful condition. Greens are fast. Played the Creek/Oaks combination. I have not played the other nine, but I am told it has more elevation changes.
The only drawback, and this is not a criticism really, is that a few of the holes are right up against the interstate highway, so a lot of road noise in those areas. A minor annoyance for such a nice course, at a good price.
Highly recommended
I highly recommend playing at the Tececula Creek Golf Course. I played the Creek and Stonehouse courses. Stonehouse was a challenging course of the two and the overall facility course was immaculate/pristine. I look forward to returning to TCI and playing another round.
Friendly staff, beautiful setting
Played the Oaks and Stonehouse 9's. The course is well designed,, very interesting, probably could use a shorter set of forward tees. The Stonehouse 9 is pretty much blind tee shots on every hole and fairly tight. The greens were in good shape, fast and true - with one exception. The first hole of the Oaks 9 was a different kind of grass and ran at about 60% of the others, including the practice green. This threw us off a bit. Overall it was a great experience and the scenery was terrific.
Old Faithful
Temecula Creek is where I go to treat myself to a solo round. It's about 10 minutes around the corner from home, and it's a great break from Redhawk which is in my backyard. JC Golf courses are always a cool experience.
Disappointed
Granted it has been raining...but the fairway was in poor shape.
The course layout is something i would expect at a muni course - flat, open, pretty boring.
We left after 9 holes.
Solid track!
Solid track if you wanna pay a little more or find a good deal. Love playing these courses. Definitely a change of pace.
I have heard this about Temecula Creek Inn from almost everyone who has played it in the past year. Way overbooked, and WAY overpriced. Not worth even 1/2 what they are charging. Every other course in the area is a better value for the money.
