Early Morning
Great course, little on the higher side as far as bang for the buck. Guy in the pro shop was a but rude. Greens were excellent and other than the pro shop, greeter and ambassador was very helpful and friendly. For $10 less would highly recommend.
Won't go back
We paid for 18 holes but quit after 9 holes and 2 1/2 hours on a Wednesday. The condition of the fairways were the worst I have ever seen, it was frankly better to be in the rough because it at least had grass. The greens were in good shape. For a resort course it was odd that there was no bag drop, we learned that you can check in and then drive back to your car and get your clubs which is kind of weird. The starter didn't even help put the clubs on our bags. I am not that demanding but certain things you get used to when you are at a "resort" TCI had none of these.
New Golf Now lacking Track information with Tee Times
Love TCI and play it often. Golfnow has changed its look, and now no indication of which Track is associated with Open Tee times is listed. IE Creek/Oks//Oaks/Stonehouse. Please fix this oversight....it is not an improvement,
Frost Delay
Had a 6:37 tee time driving in from LA area wr watched the temperature drop to 26 degrees by the time we pulled into the parking lot. Sure enough we heard those 2 words "frost delay" when we walked in the golf shop. Delay was until 8:45 so had breakfast and waited it out. Staff was very informative regarding the delay. The starter,Don is one of the best guy you will ever meet. We were a 2 some and paired up with another group but seperated onnthe 2nd hole and played as a 2some the rest of the way as the first group out. Oaks was in great shape as usual with a few bare spots in then fairway. The greens were still hard and frozen deep for the first 4 holes.. Don was suprised to see us roll through on our way to the Stonehouse 9 in 1 hour 35 minutes
We also has Stonehouse all to ourselves on a beautiful crisp morning. Stonehouse was also in great shape overall with a few tee boxes that were torn up and uneven. Greens were in very good shape. Finished in 3 1/2 hours and appreciate the way the staff handled then delay.
4 rounds in 2 days.
Played/stayed at TCI sunday/monday, and compared to last year this course is in rough shape. Creek 9 is all dead, but they have spray painted the fairways to make them look better. Greens are OK, but it seems the cheaper rates have clowns coming out that don't repair their ball marks. Tee boxes were realllly wet, a few you have to hit a few yards behind to get solid footing. Oaks and stonehouse are in much better shape, with just a spray painted fairway or two. Green 1 on oaks is closed, and the 'temporary' green is a bit of a joke. Must have been hit real hard by the summer water restrictions, though the course says it is irrigated with recycled water (purple pipes). If you play, make sure you get Oaks/Stonehouse!
Nice Course -- Poor Greens and Traps
Temecula Creek is a fun course, especially the Storehouse nine. No complaints except the greens were all hacked up with pitch marks that had not been repaired and there was little sand in the traps.
Temecula Creek Oaks/Stonewood
First time playing this combination and there were several blind shots. Lost four balls but enjoyed the course anyway. There were a couple of bad greens but overall the course was in great condition.
Temecula Inn
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The course was very average in condition and the tee boxes and greens need some care. The course has 27 holes and because of the crossover the front nine took two and a half hours. The back nine was much better, under two hours. We realize that they are struggling with drought here and we're glad that we payed a lower rate with Golf Now as the course is certainly not worth the rack rate.
Great shape
The course was in wonderful shape a nice challenge
Temecula Creek get your HOT DEALS act together!
Finally had a chance to use my Golfnow rewards for a buy 1 get 1 free Hot DEAL. So decided to play somewhere nice for a change. As always called ahead and asked about the conditions of the courses I was booking online. Interestingly, I was told by the golf shop, that even though Golfnow said those were the 2 nines I'd be playing (Stone/Oaks), that wouldn't be happening for the tee time I was booking. Since I never played there I figured id take the chance and play whichever ones they put me on. NOT A GOOD IDEA. The CREEK is a flat resort-style course that doesn't offer much fun, scenery, or any interesting golf holes. You could essentially hit 3 wood from the tips on every hole and still be within 160 yards of the green. Water barely creeps into play on #9.
Thus, you don't get what you pay for and communication between Golfnow and this course needs to improve. DON"T POST ONLINE TIMES THAT YOU CAN"T COMMIT TOO. For what I paid, the STONE/OAKS courses would have barely been worth it.
Spectacular conditions
Been golfing for a while , one of the best golf courses that I've seen in a long time fairwayd and Greens are in superb conditions..
A friendly, interesting course
We were pleasantly surprised at the pace of play and course conditions, except for the hundreds of un-repaired pitch marks on the greens, and many un-fixed bunker footprints. I understand it's a "recreation/vacation-type" layout, but the course super MUST monitor the hackers' treatment of the holes. Surprise, surprise... we were even allowed to "play thru' by a slow group ahead (couldn't be Californians), and we finished in less than 4 hours! A very enjoyable round, a 'friendly" course with few challenges, nice weather, very friendly staff... what more could you ask for? Loved it!
Dead cart
Rookie move to have a cart die after 10 holes. Took forever to get someone on the phone to tell them about it. Temporary green. I won't be back.
This course has great features
I really enjoyed the course, its challenging but not difficult.
TCI Beginner
Had a great time just wish I shot a little better.
Slow Play
The course was in great shape and we are just mid handicappers with one high handicapper but the group on the front nine was a hole behind as they would wait until the green would clear then tee off. This was most of the front nine. Then when we made the turn they were doing a full lunch inside the snack bar so we headed out thinking things would improve but they got worse as there were three groups of friends and this made the round on back take over three hours almost five and a half hours when we usually play it in 4. Bad course management
It was good.
The golf course of temecula creek inn was good. Condition of golf course and green speed was good. I want to play again.
Outstanding
Great Place to play golf. Had a great time. I played by myself and finished in about two and a half hours. Greens were predictable and the course was in great condition. The views the course provided were great.
Beautiful course
One of my favorite courses. When I get a good vibe at a course that's what does it for me. My game is at its peak when I play here because every hole is beautiful and peaceful. It's also challenging but fun.
Very slow
5 hours and 20 minutes to play, but it was Friday before a holiday. Way to slow. Staff was friendly and sorry for slow play. Many greens had 30-40 ball marks in them.
