Dobson Ranch Golf Course

We were joined by a couple that made the experience well worth the time. I enjoy playing this course because it is fairly challenging and easy to walk.

There was some sort of senior men’s league going on but tee times were sold in between them and the senior men were playing it like the US Open and I only got in 13 holes before I threw in the towel.

Hadn’t played the course for few years so thought I’d give it a go. Although the course is a decent public course, this was the last time I would play it. (5) + hour rounds are not acceptable. At multiple holes there (3) foursomes waiting. Never saw a ranger to get things moving and that is inexcusable! If you have 5 to 6 hours to play, go for it..otherwise find a course that cares about pace of play..

We played 3 courses when we were in Arizona and this was the bang for the buck. With a frost delay the answering service told us 3 times that there was a 2 hour delay and low and behold when most the crew got there is was only a 50 minute delay. Starter was rude and one person in the group missed the first 2 holes. Very disappointing as we were told by others who golfed there that this was a top notch public course. Wasn't impressed.

Greens roll very well. Front nine more difficult than back nine which allows you to recover from a bad start. Play weekly and look forward to every round. Pace of play is reasonable. Staff is very friendly. Course appearance would improve with removal of dead trees. Lots of activity everyday. Fun place to hang out.

45 min late tee time. Slow play. Only got in 12 holes at dark. No refund provided. Do not reserve a tee time after noon here. Twice now is a trend and par to the coarse here.

Was told BEFORE i purchased my round today for 339p that I could only get through the first 9 and that I would be given a rain check to be able to come back and complete my round. Told to simply come back on my way out. When we got back to the clubhouse was told ABSOLUTELY NOT.

I only had that expectation because that is what you had set. Linda the starter was nice. Fire everybody else.

I played a 3:00 tee time which by the way you can’t beat the price with the ranch card/smash pass!! I’ve golfed for a little over a year now and I’ve played at various courses and this by far is best environment!! I had the pleasure of playingg with Dave, Jeremy and rob some staff members and it was really fun and they were very friendly made me feel like one their own. The staff is always cheerful and you feel welcomed! You can tell everyone loves to work there it shows in their customer service. I bought the smash pass pass for the year and can’t wait to many more rounds of golf at Dobson ranch!! Love it and keep up the great work. Angel

Nice course great driving range other than Matt's lots of big trees on the course to make it a challenge only two complaints would be they should have nets along the driving range the two fairways beside get littered with range balls. And not sure what kind of grass is on the fairways it's super tight to make your short game shots interesting. I will be back one day for revenge.

Had a good day playing at Dobson Ranch. Course was in excellent condition. Greens were very good. They had a tournament earlier in the day and we teed off an hour late which was a drawback. Finished in the dark.

All the courses in the Valley are way over priced for this time of year.

To many local residents can’t afford to play.
