Dobson Ranch Golf Course

Attention to detail is all I can say. This was our 2nd time their in a weeks time. Going again next week. Every staff member we have meet has been awesome. I play a lot of golf in Wisconsin and don't get near the Attention we've got here.. shout out to Mark. Great job my friend.

We finally quit after playing 15 holes due to having to wait on every shot. People who normally

play early generally play fast. Need to set under 4 hour pace.

Dobson Ranch is all about fun, and if the game of golf wants to grow, this course should be the model. I saw more young people at this course than anywhere else I have ever been. But the relaxed environment does not translate into sloppy conditions. The layout is ordinary, but well-kept. The pace was good and staff were friendly, efficient and disciplined. The course is a very good deal for the price. The only down-side was difficulty in getting a tee-time. The place is popular, which makes tee times a competitive endeavor.

Liked the course but pace was slow and lots of balls on the fairways from the driving range and always seems to have people crossing fairways to play balls…if your good with that it’s a nice course🤔

I have golfed 11 different places this year, since coming to Mesa. This by far is the best place I have golfed so far. The course was in excellent shape the staff was great. Huge shout out to Mark. He is by far the coolest staff member I have meet.. he meet us , loaded our clubs on the cart, and when we were done with our round he cleaned our clubs., while we were having breakfast. What a service. Highly recommended this course.

Had 4 hours to play because of sunsetting. It started off very slow, but as the last 9 holes sped up I was able to finish 18 holes as sunset occurred just as I started no. 18. It was a beautiful time and a beautiful day.

The course was in great shape. The staff was very courteous. It was my first time there. I was very impressed. Missed not having GPS on the cart.

This has been my home course for a while. As always, they need driving range nets for safety on 9 & 10. We teed off as a two some after the men’s league tournament. They held us on the first tee for 5 minutes past the tee time trying to find a twosome to pair us with. Sent us off as a twosome and then around the fourth hole the ranger came up to us and said we need to wait for the twosome behind us to join. That took another 15 minutes since they were an hole and half behind us. It also threw off the momentum. I don’t mind waiting behind other groups but waiting for a group to join you when you’re already halfway through the front 9? Kinda frustrating when a golf course says you’re playing too fast and now you need to wait to have a later tee time join you. Still, it’s the home course and always a good play.

About the only bad thing I can say is mentioned often so I hope the course sees it again. The 9th and 10th holes are loaded with range balls so much that our foursome lost 2 balls because we couldn't distinguish from the range balls. Otherwise, we had a great time at this course. The conditions and staff were great and the 19th hole and outside area were nice.

Good conditions. Great practice facility. Some fairways are close beside each other. Beware of wayward slices off some tee boxes.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Mark, the cart supervisor is always on point. Paul, the starter is great at his job. Love this place.
