Dobson Ranch Golf Course

The staff on this course is incredible. I had booked the wrong course, but Dobson Ranch accommodated my mistake and allowed our foursome to play (I booked Robson Ranch by mistake). The starter insures that everyone tee's off with enough space to ensure there are no delays during your round. This place is great! Incredible driving range, places to get lessons, etc. I highly recommend playing this course; good shape, nice greens & fairways, and reasonably priced! A++++ for all the staff who work there!

Only reason not 5 stars was pace of play. I understand they can’t control the pace of golfers but apparently there was a tournament the day I booked a tee time. Scheduled start of 2:18 and didn’t tee off until about 2:40. Front 9 took over 2 hours. Unfortunately only got to play 14 before it got too dark. Other than that, staff is extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. Course is well set up and fun to play. Heads up, if you book a weekend tee time and want to hit the range beforehand, show up EARLY! The top tracer range fills up quick. Overall great course experience and I will be back!

Dobson is always a good course to play. It’s the home track. My gripe is that they spent money to redo the range with new shot tracing tech, but they still have not put up nets to block range balls from filling up the 9 & 10 fairways. Put up nets.

The 10th hole needs a fence protecting driving range balls from entering the fairway and protect players

We were joined by a couple that made the experience well worth the time. I enjoy playing this course because it is fairly challenging and easy to walk.

There was some sort of senior men’s league going on but tee times were sold in between them and the senior men were playing it like the US Open and I only got in 13 holes before I threw in the towel.

Hadn’t played the course for few years so thought I’d give it a go. Although the course is a decent public course, this was the last time I would play it. (5) + hour rounds are not acceptable. At multiple holes there (3) foursomes waiting. Never saw a ranger to get things moving and that is inexcusable! If you have 5 to 6 hours to play, go for it..otherwise find a course that cares about pace of play..

We played 3 courses when we were in Arizona and this was the bang for the buck. With a frost delay the answering service told us 3 times that there was a 2 hour delay and low and behold when most the crew got there is was only a 50 minute delay. Starter was rude and one person in the group missed the first 2 holes. Very disappointing as we were told by others who golfed there that this was a top notch public course. Wasn't impressed.

Greens roll very well. Front nine more difficult than back nine which allows you to recover from a bad start. Play weekly and look forward to every round. Pace of play is reasonable. Staff is very friendly. Course appearance would improve with removal of dead trees. Lots of activity everyday. Fun place to hang out.

45 min late tee time. Slow play. Only got in 12 holes at dark. No refund provided. Do not reserve a tee time after noon here. Twice now is a trend and par to the coarse here.
