Good Value
Course in good conditioner then bunkers. Most lacking enough sand
Nice Track
We really enjoyed the day. Only issue was the rough. Not much grass.
Greens and fairways were in great shape.
Big greens with slope and contours
Playing single, paired up with another single and a twosome that was long and wild so we were looking for balls regularly and got behind. The Marshall asked us nicely to pick up the pace and get back in position. Only three sets of tees and the middle tees were to far for this senior so wound up playing the forward tees and having shorter clubs into greens, that was kind of enjoyable. On the other hand, I wasn’t hitting anything close so those big greens took their toll in three putts. Had a nice day even with that and the course was busy.
Course conditions and driving range net.
The course was in good shape despite all the rain. I am happy to see that you finally put up nets for the driving range. Great place to practice and socialize.
Dobson Ranch is in fabulous condition
Dobson Ranch is in fabulous condition. My playing partners said they'd never seen it in such great condition. Other than a few puddles on the sides of a few fairways from the storms last week, it was gorgeous.
Slow play!!!’
I haven’t played this course in over 49 years. The cost has gone up of course but it’s commensurate with other similar courses around Phoenix. Not a big fan of the non-Mesa resident penalty. The pace of play was horrendous for mid-morning on Monday. Almost 5 hrs. Course conditions were average. I like how they’re adding features like the fancy driving range, putt-putt course and the food truck right near the driving range.
Staff at this course are top notch
I love playing this course, its wide fairways and gentle terrain make it an easy course to walk. The staff are incredible and helpful. The additional amenities are also a plus.

Couse is in excellent condition.
Staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. I was impressed at check-in, pro shop, restaurant and the cart return.
Range is Super-Fun!
We love the range here at DR! They have in-range, great tables, good servers- LJ and Mark take good care of us!
Great Condition
The course was in terrific condition. We did need to keep the cart on the path with the recent overseeding, which provided more exercise! Bonus for sure!
Totally enjoyed the course and the staff at Dobson are all so warm and friendly.
Solid muni
Always a pretty good value for a muni. Zero sand in the bunkers though, that needs to be fixed.
Consistently Great
I always enjoy playing here. The service is consistently outstanding, and the conditions are always good. It can get backed up sometimes but that’s because it’s a great place to play.
Holiday golf outing
Round started out a bit slow, but after the marshal got a couple of groups moving the round went at the speed one would expect.
