Dobson Ranch Golf Course

Dobson Ranch is not like any other Golf Course, they have a light and friendly atmosphere where anyone can come and have fun. The driving range is comparable to Topgolf with state of the art shot tracking and games you can play. The course is in great shape and very challenging. Top that off with top quality food from a top notch chef and all around great staff, this place has it all!

It is good overall. The only issue is the ranch ball everywhere on fairway of hole 10 which makes hard to find your own ball

Course is nice with a good layout. Grounds are just "okay" this time of year as bermuda hasn't fully awakened yet, though there were many dry spots and some tee boxes burned up; greens and bunkers good. Play was very slow and ranger was on course. Lively (or noisy) atmosphere with a lot of focus on the practice area and amenities environment. Carts all have speakers so you can play your tunes on course.

I realize course was in transition from winter to summer grass but some tee boxes were all sand no grass. Sand traps were bad.

They have really upped their game either the addition of a putt putt course and new outdoor furniture. It’s a good value for the money and it’s in decent shape.

This was our first time and we will definitely be back.

I’m 2 under through 8 and it starts to back up. There were 4 groups on the tee box on the par 3 12th. I left

Course was in good condition, started early so pace was good. Greens were slightly challenging and rolled at medium pace; made a few missed a few. Enjoyed the course layout and has all the amenities. Scored well so might play the blues next go 'round.

First time playing over the weekend. Glad I was able to score a hot deal, normally rate is a little pricey for how packed it is. They got a fun driving range set up with food and drinks. But man holy packed. Tee time was 3:30 and it was super backed up. They were delayed and several groups playing really slow. Finished the last few holes in the dark. Overall fun course with some long holes. Would play again on a hot deal rate. For a musical course kinda surprised it’s still one of the more pricey courses to play

I was skeptical at first when driving into Dobson Ranch GC. Being someone who predominantly plays golf in North Scottsdale, I’m accustomed to the tradition and etiquette that golf teaches to so many. And while I love playing in fresh white footjoys with a tucked in polo … it was nice to let loose with a beer in hand and remember college rounds at my local municipal track in Tucson AZ (BEAR DOWN!)

DRGC is not your grand pappys track, you will be surrounded by a youthful and open minded golfers all connected to one goal in mind… persevering! The amenities alone at this place are worth visiting, but the quality of the greens will keep you coming back. The fairways are ok … but for the price I cant even complain.

Overall, check this place out when you don’t wanna pay 200$ to play with a bunch of dudes with iron covers !
