About
The golf course at the San Marcos Golf Resort boasts an impressive list of past players that includes presidents and celebrities. The golf course is nestled on a property in downtown Chandler that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Although it has a desert landscape, the course is still lush with a canal that runs through it, a lake, and plush Bermuda grass greens, the former two creating water hazards that come into play on several holes. The San Marcos Golf Resort course is challenging with each hole having at least three bunkers. The two most difficult holes on the golf course are two lengthy par 4s, the fourth and the 10th.

Beautiful
This was a fun course to play friendly clean and so well kept for being established in 1913. Watch out for the canal that runs thru it’s hidden and it got me nearly every time.
Great course.
Challenging course for all levels. Greens and fairways in great shape. Wonderful staff in the clubhouse and on the course.
Good Times
Always good playing SM, course in great shape and pace was on point.
Unusual round
I usually enjoy this course which was in very good shape. Unfortunately the pace was so bad that after 10.5 holes we called it a day. Some of the factors were beyond the control of the course and I appreciate them giving me a rain check
A day at san Marcos
The course is in some of the best conditions in years. Me and my out of state guests were teamed up with Jean and Jeannie nice older couple who apparently live on the course. We were having a nice time until Jeannie who thought she was a pro missed a 12 foot putt and precede to have a meltdown and blamed me for taking while she was putting witch was not true. She even suggested I play golf elsewhere. I been playing at this course for over 25 years as well as all over the country and have never had this kind of experience. If you got to San Marcos and get paired with her run.
