About
The golf course at the San Marcos Golf Resort boasts an impressive list of past players that includes presidents and celebrities. The golf course is nestled on a property in downtown Chandler that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Although it has a desert landscape, the course is still lush with a canal that runs through it, a lake, and plush Bermuda grass greens, the former two creating water hazards that come into play on several holes. The San Marcos Golf Resort course is challenging with each hole having at least three bunkers. The two most difficult holes on the golf course are two lengthy par 4s, the fourth and the 10th.

needed a ranger today, the group in front of us was a hole behind.

We played our round in less than 4 hours! Ready golf is always good to keep a good rhythm.

The staff was super friendly, old school style course, challenging layout and terrific smooth fast greens! Highly recommend!

It’s always a great place to play. But what happened to the portal johns on the course???
Want another try at it
A real challenge with small greens and lots of bunkers. If you short-side yourself, forget about getting up and in. Good overall value. A definite play again course.
course was in poor condition. layout was fine. greens were fast

course is in good condition but greens were lightning fast and hard. difficult to gt ball close to hole on approach shots due to the hardness of the greens. dood time for all in our golf party
Getting Back into the Swing
A really nice course to brush off the comb webs. Straight fairways and back to front greens. Staff was friendly and helpful and made sure to keep the play moving.
The staff also gave each cart a good Covid cleaning before releasing it to someone else
