Stripe Show Golf Club
About
The golf course at Stripe Show Golf Club (previously known as Freedom Golf Course) is a walker-friendly and affordable venue for juniors, beginners and experienced golfers in search of a pleasant round. The executive length course has a risk-and-reward layout for an interesting game. This course may be short but there are several challenging elements. Situated on a terrain of rolling hills, golfers can expect uneven lies and elevation changes adding some interesting elements to the course. Water hazards come into play on several holes and there are strategically placed sand bunkers present on the course as well. Stripe Show Golf Club is well maintained with plenty of nice, shady areas.

Needs some cleaning
Purchased as a hot deal so we played even though much of course was under water due to it being the areas flood water collection basin and no refund policy if course is open. With a little work to clean up trash, debris and redefine layout, this can be a nice course again. Staff are amazing but seem overwhelmed with the amount of work needed. Brought my daughter today for her first round and truly enjoyed the holes we were able to play. This executive course offered a nice challenge for a beginner and practice for a more seasoned player. Wouldn’t recommend for a week or so to allow drying out of the flooded golf course.
Course needs work
This course had been recommended to me since I am newer to golf. I have a played a few different courses and this one by far was the worst! The course was mostly a mix of dead grass, dirt patches, and tree debris. Ground is pretty hard had troubles getting a few Tee's in but I was able to find a spot that was a little softer allowing the tee to set. Alot of water on multiple fairways and greens. If these issues get addressed then this could be a nice course but for now I will not be going back. This is an overpriced course if you ask me due to lack of maintenance and the course being shared with disc golfers!
Quiet place to practice
Plenty of shade. Never busy. Short 9 hole course with driving range. Staff is friendly. At noon runs off of honor system.
Course had litter at various locations. Sprinkler heads were exposed and upright causing trip hazards. Five-some was allowed to play and would not allow players to play through.
Fun Executive Course
This was a fun course to play with my 12YO son. Don't expect any long Par3 holes though, my 8i came out twice, rest of the holes I teed up with 9i or PW. Felt the value for money was average, could be improved by adding carts or reducing the price to be closer to $1/hole as a walking-only course. Will play again.
Thursday
It is a good course to get some swings in and to get a few steps. It is not an immaculate course. The cost is minimal.
Took my wife to an executive course for her first time out and this place was a mistake. Green not cut and debris all over course. Fairways were in horrible condition even for this time of year. Greens had dog feces and debris on every single hole. I will never book a tee time at this course again
Freedom doesnt ring
Bad range, bad tee boxes, bad greens, holes cut poorly, not much of a golf course. Decent 9 hole practice where you dont need more than pw, lots of big trees and shade. Disappointed overall, could be a gem of a short course on that property
Love it
This course is a great practice course. Don’t expect a tpc experience on this course but it is great for my wife son and I so we can take our time and learn what is going on with our shots. The course is a great budget course and very fun to play.
It's was OK
The course is a bit hard to find as there is no signage .
The course could use some TLC but it was OK. There is a new General Manager coming on board in May so hopefully that should change things? Not a lot of amenities but I was there for a quick nine holes and it filled the bill. Staff were friendly and I was giving some tips on the course before the round.
It was OK
The course could use some TLC. There is a new General Manager coming on board in May so hopefully that will improve things. I enjoyed the course but I am not the best golfer. I played the 9 holes in 74 minutes. There was only two other people on the course. Very friendly staff.
You get what you pay for! Should have known better but, it was the first round of the year.
freedom golf is nice
NO frills just cheap golf on a nice layout. they have disc golf there too and foot golf but I have never seen anyone play foot golf. If the owners put a little more care into the course it would be awesome. They never move the holes on the green. never pick up the trash around the course and in the little lake. I would pick up the trash and recycle if it were my course because it is a beautiful place.I do what I can when I play there, but I am there to play not work. Baby geese just hatched -super cute!
The course is drying out some, but it’s a short course where you can work on your irons.
Hidden Value
Walked 18 holes of the executive course for $20. The course was not busy, so we were able to take our time. Both Par 4's are drive-able. Great location!
Beginner Course
I would recommend this course only if you are a beginner. Main reason is that is it cheap and you will have no pressure with people behind you. The course itself is very poorly maintained. There are a couple of challenging holes. There is also frisbee golf going on at the same time. Again, it you are a beginner than a course like this is good, beyond that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with any real level of experience.

That is not dog feces-goose feces, they stay all year there and its poop from grass.
