Westbrook Golf Club - Lakes Course

Very fair and short...Staff was excellent which is always a plus. Greens were dried out by the time I teed off but still rolled well. Worth the money and drive to Sun City

The fairways were in fine condition as were the tee boxes. The course has undulating fairways and they dogleg here and there. The 9th hole is fun to play because of the water. Be aware that the fringe of the fairway can propel your ball extra distance.The greens were pretty true even after many players our day had played.

Fairways in excellent condtion, as were the greens. Great course for a medium handicap golfer. Pace was good, a marshall was there to remind folks to stay on the cart path or the fairway. Too many golfers don't repair their divots.

This is one of the most beautiful courses I have played. The fairways were super green with no bare spots and the greens were like carpet! Kudos to the course maintenance crew.

We live on this course. The course was closed down from April through mid-November, 2015. They entirely re-did the irrigation system, sand traps & greens. The course is still healing some from the irrigation system re-build. That all being said, the course is in very good shape. I suspect by March, 2016, you would never know that it had been worked on so extensively.

There must be a glitch with the website, date doesn't enter correctly. I played on Jan 2, 2016. When I showed up the staff couldn't be described as anything short of overly accommodating. The practice facility was great, driving range was probably ready to move the line but not atrocious. Every tee box was amazing, maybe one not perfectly level, and all lush. Fairways were all amazing. Now my one complaint, the greens... They are not real grass, one of my group insisted they were, but I'm no fool. There was not a ball mark to be seen, and they left an odd green stain on the balls like I've never seen. I was unable to get any ball to stick on approach. They also rolled pretty slow considering their great appearance, but also pretty easy to get the right line. I will come back, but only for $35 or less.

We play this course and it's sister course - Vistas - 5 or 6 times every winter. Always enjoyable. Very walkable and we finished in less than 4 hours. This course was renovated last year with new greens, fairways, and irrigation system and it shows. All were in excellent shape. Straight forward layout - no blind shots - what you see is what you get. Very fair with generous landing areas. Stay in the fairway and watch pin placements and you'll have a great round.

Excellent course conditions. Straight forward layout that won't beat you up with difficulty. Smoothe greens! Makes for an enjoyable day! Not a bombers course.

Course is in excellent shape. Had my first hole in one on third hole so what could be better?

This course has large greens, and was in great shape.
Played as a threesome and finished in a little less than three and a quarter hours. Starters did a great job of spacing groups so that pace and flow of play was maintained throughout the round. This course offers good distance on par 4 and 5 holes, and par 3's with some interesting challenges. All in all a good day of golf and I highly recommend this course for play. I know I will be back.

Greens are generally easy with not too many steep slopes.

I love this course.. Not easy buy you can still score on this course...Love the layout, trees and surroundings. Plenty of room on the fairways but watch out for the trees and water on 17 and 18.

Bunkers sand was hard as a rock and very little sand. OK if you know it beforehand.

Had a great afternoon at Westbrook. Staff was friendly, course was well kept, the greens rolled true, it was a great golf experience. Even though we weren't regular 'members' the staff was very professional and pointed us in the right direction for everything. Highly recommend playing here.

The course was fun to play. It is not set up to beat you up, but to reward good shots. It did that and I would go back to play the course again.

the fairways and course in general were in good shape. I would call it a long executive course. not too much trouble. The greens were "re-done" and in terrible shape.

Bunkers havean inch of sand.. maybe. You are better off putting out of them.
