Westbrook Golf Club - Lakes Course

The staff is friendly, the range and facility is superb, the course had a reasonable amount of difficulty and was in great condition. The pace of play was sad, 5 hours is too long and I never saw a ranger.

Everything about the course and facilities were great. First time playing the course and the 18th hole was very scenic. We started on the 10th hole.
We unfortunately didn't get to finish the front 9- the pace of play was unbelievably slow. We left after 3 holes and found each hole we passed on our way back to the clubhouse was backed up. Don't know if a ranger was out and about but it just diminished any rhythm due to waiting for every shot.
We will be back; everything else was great-want to see how holes 4-9 pan out.

Great atmosphere and in good shape, greens were a little bare/hard, it will be tough in the summer. And it is not called "Lakes" for nothin' watch the water throughout.

Average course, bunkers lack sand, all hard pan. Narrow fairways & good greens, but a bit slow.

Always a nice course to play and the greens are rolling very firm and true. A tad slow pace but it was a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't a surprise.

I played the Lakes course and had a great experience. Got there about 45 minutes ahead of my tee time and hit some balls on the range; the range is included in the golf fee. I signed up as a single and was paired with 3 others, all nice folks. The course is moderately difficult, playing a bit over 6000 yards from the whites. The last 2 holes are really a challenge, and are great holes. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The rough is not watered, but you can still easily play out of the rough. The pace of play was amazingly good, especially so when considering that the course was full. We finished our round in a bit under 4 hours.

Course was nice and well kept. People were friendly.

Had to skip holes due to back up. Called pro shop. They said they would check it out but no one came.

Upon arrival I was greeted in the parking lot, and directed to the pro shop. The gentleman was extremely friendly and courteous. Met a man called Sam on my way to the practice range..again extremely friendly and welcoming. Great course...I'll be back.

This course is always in good condition. Definately worth the money

Beautiful facility, friendly staff, cordial members, manicured course. This is a jewel. Thanks to the members for welcoming guests.

This course is half way decent. The greens are pretty pocked up and need some help. I've played it numerous times and it seems people don't care to fix their dimples on the greens, and the fairways have a lot of unfixed divots. I prefer the Vistas over the Lakes.

Pace excellent--greens quite slow. traps could use more sand around greens. Value at under $35

Nice course to play with plenty of interesting holes. Greens okay, over-seeding a little thin but not bad. Fairways very good as were tees. Pace of play was excellent, right on 4 hours. Definitely a bargain at $40. Overall a great facility with nice practice area and bar/restaurant.

We both enjoyed playing this course and look forward to another opportunity to do so again. Our thanks to Westbrook Village for making some tee times available to the general public. The course is well maintained and the staff were very friendly to us.

Was a member here 4 years ago. On arrival, Chuck immediately recognized me and greeted me warmly. Pace of play was good at just under 4 hours. Course conditions as good as I recalled. Great finishing holes at 17 and 18. Greens were in good condition and pins placements were challenging.

It rained the previous night, locals did not come out. Played 18 in just under 2 hours. Great conditions.

The course is just been reseeded, so the tees, fairways and greens were in very good shape. Greens very slow, bu this is a Sun City course, but rolled very well. I like this course, it has some really nice holes with a great finishing hole on 18. Play is really slow at times, Club house needs some upgrading but over all ok.

After playing a less than stellar course for $100+, the Lakes course was a great surprise for $26. Course in great shape, allowed to drive in fairways which had come in beautifully. Made the mistake of teeing off 10 vs 1, which worked out great for pace, never running into another group. Free range balls included, something else the more expensive course failed to offer.
