Westbrook Golf Club - Lakes Course

About
The Lakes Course is one of two 18-hole courses that the Westbrook Golf Club offers. Residential communities border the course but they do not interfere with the game. The course has a traditional design with a landscape that is accented with mature trees. Undulating greens and several water hazards add plenty of challenge to the course. There are also many strategically placed sand bunkers. The course finishes with not one but two signature holes, the 17th and 18th, offering a great end to the game. The Westbrook Golf Club facility possesses various practice facilities as well as a pro shop.

Well maintained and good value
Really enjoyed playing this couse. 17 and 18 are two challenging and beautiful holes. Great value. Staff super friendly. Not much in way of amenities so take water with you.
Westbrook Village
Both courses at Westbrook Village are good courses. The Lakes has more water that comes into play while the Vistas has an interesting layout. My wife and I play these courses a lot and I would recommend them to anyone interested in an enjoyable round at a good pace. People are really nice as well.
Excellent course and value
Made me forget I am in a desert setting. The homes that line the fairways are very nice and don't inhibit play. They have nice trees and a very nice roll to the terrain. Traps were nice but pretty crunchy. (it was 100 degrees when I played) Generous greens which they had aerated, but the ball still ran true and pretty fast. The water on the course was very nice with fountains in place. I highly recommend the course and will try to play again soon.
Nice greens!
The course was in great shape despite all the warm weather we've been having. It's been years since I've played here. A lot nicer than in the past. Also, the prices have come down, so I can actually afford to play here. I'll be back.
First Time Play
Played this course for the first time. Enjoyed the layout and found the course to be a good challenge. The last three holes are the toughest and most fun to play. I will be back to play again as long as I can find a "hot deal" that makes it worth it.
Excellent greens
The Lakes Course at Westbrook Village is a very user friendly but challenging lay out with many very scenic holes. Number 17 & 18 are excellent finishing holes.
All Facilities Should Be Like This One
Top Notch Facility
Excellent driving range, putting green, and chipping area.
Greens are perfect condition, may be a little fuzzy, slightly slow but you get used to it during the round, I may of played on a day they did not mow them.
Par 71Course is challenging, nice design, traditional feel, big trees, long par 4's & 3's, few short par 4's & 3's they mix it up good and all par 5's are different.
I like the last three holes as they challenge you if you are trying to hit a number.
#17 Par 3 is one of the most intimidating holes in AZ from the blue tees: from the tee all you see is water and a rock ledge in front of the green, you have to put it on or else!
Very nice.
I really liked the course layout and the challenging holes through out.
Awesome shape!
Absolutely in great shape, fairways are lush and the greens are very, very good and rolling very true.
As Expected
It doesn't matter what time of year it is, the course is always in great condition. The greens were rolling smooth and true! And a special shout out to The staff both at the club house and resturant/bar. Always friendly service and the food is great!
Four hours well spent.
The combination of design features, course maintenance and pace of play make for an enjoyable round. Excellent practice facility and other amenities as well. There was no on course refreshment cart so plan accordingly.
Best course in the area
I play here at least once a week. Grass is always in great condition. Great sized fairways and very comfortable to play.
Challenging, fair, great value!
Got a special tee time rate on golf now which really made this a "first choice" course. Friendly helpful staff.
Would like to see more yardage markers.
Very enjoyable course.
great value on hot deals
We had such a good time this course . When you play a pristine course your attitude immediately elevates the mood and you play better.
Thanks for the great deal
Summer conditions
Vistas is a rolling course (for the desert) that wanders thru a retirement subdivision. The hole layouts combine lengthy par 4s with the occasional 5 and numerous par 3s. All cart players, I saw no one walking on this course.
I enjoyed this course, but the rough is cut too long and I lost several balls from not being able to see my lie - the ball drops down in the grass and is not visible. I don't know how much time I spent looking for balls on this course! Best to be accurate and play in the fairway on Vistas.
I enjoy the nearly Lakes course much more.
