About
The executive-length course at Continental Golf Club is a popular choice due to the friendly staff, convenient location, and challenging game. The course features undulating greens that are in excellent shape, as is the entire course. Unique mounding surrounds the narrow fairways. A drainage ditch and two lakes also come into play on the golf course. The signature hole is the par-4 18th hole, which calls for not only a tee shot but also an approach shot over water. The course plays fast but it is still quite enjoyable. Continental Golf Club also has practice facilities including a large driving range, putting green, and practice green.

good executive course for the casual or beginner golfer
Very friendly staff, the round was under 3 hours, the greens were in good shape, the ball held the greens very well
First Timer
Had always driven by this course and wanted to play and finally got my chance. Overall the course was in decent shape. Greens were nice as were most of the fairways. The tee boxes need some work. Lots of sandy areas and not very level. With a lot of par 3s...a flat tee box is a must. Greens were firm but did hold if a shot had some height on it. Green speed was slow, but for the most part surfaces were smooth. Some shorter par 4s to go with mostly par 3s. Played at about noon so the course was not very busy and I zipped around in about 3 hours. A bit of advice: don't use yellow golf balls on any of the holes near the driving range, because there are a lot of range balls that have escaped the range area...white is good.
SLOOOOOW Play
I’ve payed this course many, many times and never played a slower round of golf!! Just so overcrowded!!
The pace of play was fine (3 hrs.). The greens were in very good shape. The biggest complaint is with the tee boxes. Some were hacked up pretty good with sand and little grass. Some tee boxes are crowned and need to be leveled. Overall, not that bad of course for the casual golfer, but I wish ARCIS would spend some money to keep the course in a little better condition.
Fun Course
It's short. Executive type. Lots of Par 3's. Always fun to play. My first round whenever down here is Continental.
NICE DAY!
Overall nice day at Continental. Very busy, so the pace was a bit stop/go for my taste. But it's April in AZ, so bring your best attitude! Staff was terrific and very friendly. One thing with that, no ice in the cart ice chests so it was, "you can get ice up at the bar." Thing is, you have to BUY something at the bar to get the ice. *eyeroll*. "may I have 3 bottles of water, please?" Got my waters, ice, and was on my way.
Fun course!
This 18 hole executive golf course (par 60) in Scottsdale, AZ is great for beginners, and since the greens are spectacular, great as a practice facility for elite golfers. Staff is friendly and projects a welcoming attitude for all. We played 18 holes in 2 hours as a twosome.
