About
The executive-length course at Continental Golf Club is a popular choice due to the friendly staff, convenient location, and challenging game. The course features undulating greens that are in excellent shape, as is the entire course. Unique mounding surrounds the narrow fairways. A drainage ditch and two lakes also come into play on the golf course. The signature hole is the par-4 18th hole, which calls for not only a tee shot but also an approach shot over water. The course plays fast but it is still quite enjoyable. Continental Golf Club also has practice facilities including a large driving range, putting green, and practice green.

Pay for 18, but be prepared to play 7!
Ridiculously overbooked, or letting walk-ons join when they are already packed. Spent our first 45 minutes waiting behind group after group tee off. That got us through 3 holes. We gave up after 7, 2 hours later.. keep in mind this course is a par 60 i beleive..
Frustration
The pace of play was frustrating slow. Up to four groups of four waiting on a tee box! Pace was rediculously slow. Not likely to go back any time soon!
Slow pace
We started on 10 everything went well until the turn apparently no one at the, club house was tell late afternoon golfersto start on ten as a result 2 groups cut in front of us Back 9 was very slow
Fun time
Typical busy Saturday. It was slow but the course was in good condition and our foursome had fun as always!
pace of play
I would not recommend this course because of the pace of play. It was a very slow round, almost two and a half hours for nine hole. At hole nr fife we had to line up as flight nr fife!
They put too many people on the course obviously.

A cheap option in Scottsdale...u get what u pay for! 4-5 nice holes...expext it to be crowded. short! cramped, executive style course.
Terrible condition
The course is in need of long overdue maintenance. The tees are in terrible shape and the cups are worn down on the edges. It looks like they haven't changed hole locations in weeks.
Good course, Grumpy Pro
Course was fun to play and in good shape. DO NOT expect even an hello when you pay your Green Fee.. Grumpy Pro in the golf shop..
Good for what it is
A stratight forward, executive par 60 with fairly small greens. Some of the par 3's are long and somewhat challenging if played from the long tees. A good practice facility and close proximity to Scottsdale make this a great place for a quick 18 holes. There is are a lot of waterfowl on some holes and consequently lots of bird poop in some areas. The course is in the Hayden wash so recent rains made the water levels high and the course wet is some places. Look for a good rate.
A Course to work out the kinks
Course was short but fair. A few hazards to trip you up but most of all the greens were the challenge at time of play with it being hard to get a read with speed.
Overall good course to work on the short game if you play strategy golf and keep the driver in the bag.
