About
The Sun City South Golf Course is normally a private club but during the summer months, public play is allowed. The course has a traditional layout with four sets of teeboxes for a variety of different golfing options, which allow golfers to work on a range of different handicaps. The golf course has a fair share of challenges with several sand bunkers and plenty of trees scattered throughout. There are also out-of-bounds stakes providing more difficulty. Water hazards come into play on some holes as well. The Sun City South Golf Course facility has a putting green and chipping area for golfers to use in addition to the course.

Old folks course
Good course for old folks. They allow fivsomes, which is unusual. Fairways need to be a bit longer. Very nice staff people. Probably the nicest staff of all of the Sun City Courses.
Always a very nice course with a full range of tee boxes. Very nice condition.
Nice Sun City Course
First time playing this course and could not have had a better first impression. Got matched up with some local members who were easy to play with and helped me out with their local knowledge. Course is in good shape from tee to green with the greens in excellent shape. The greens are the main defense for course as it is not overly long but the greens are sloped and somewhat tricky (especially 17). Will definitely look to play again in the near future and got a great deal on Golf Now.
Great old track.
Dont play to the pins. Go past the pin makes it a tough 2 putt.
Chas in the pro shop is the best!
Pretty Greens
Course in great shape. Had a nice foursome and a
fun round of golf. Let a twosome go through and
never had to hurry or wait. About a 4 hour round
just perfect. Cost was great also. Playing there
again tomorrow
Good value
Nice venue , decent greens and wide fairways make the game enjoyable. Great value for the money.
Wet spots
The greens were very hard would not hod a standard shot putted slower than normal,I have played this course many times never seen so many wet spots ??
Best condition
I was paired with some very nice people and we
mentioned how good and pretty the greens were.
Had some really tough downhillers but fun, Played
behind 5 some on front but still played around
4 hrs. Fairways also in good condition.Everybody
friendly as usual.
Good Layout
Course has. Enough challenge for mid handicapper... Greens very good condition.. Tee boxes not kept up at all...
Nice course
It’s a good layout just needs more actual grass on the course,, it’s kinda sparse in places.Could you do something about the 35 mph winds also?

Get what you're asking for
Greens roll fairly slow...the rough is non-existent and is mostly just dried up mud. For $25, you know what you're getting. We skipped a hole because of a 6-some in front of us which seems to be a common theme at the course.
Ridiculous pin placements
They put several of the pins on severe down slopes so if you missed the hole by just a little bit, in many cases it almost rolled off the green....very frustrating. Also, the fairways were cut a bit short so thin lies were very common. The balance of course was acceptable.
