About
Located in the metropolitan Phoenix area, the affordably priced Ken McDonald Golf Course is a championship-length course that is suitable for any level of golfer. The flat terrain of the course makes for an enjoyable stroll, while the water hazards that come into play on eight holes provide plenty of challenge. The water hazards are provided by the Western Canal, which flows directly through the golf course. The par-5 11th hole is the longest on the course at 570 yards; it is very difficult to reach in two shots. In addition to the course, Ken McDonald Golf Course offers several other amenities including a restaurant, club fitting and repairs, and professional golf instruction.

Poor Experience for a Bachelor Party
As the title says, we were in town for a bachelor party and the groom was looking forward to golfing while in Arizona. The cart staffer showed disrespect towards our group and had a racist undertone to it. Would not recommend this course to anyone until personnel changes are made.
Good bang for the buck
It’s fine . Turning for the summer , so it plays like other municipalities . Again no water offered or ice chest .
Best course in this area
I play here often an this gem of a course is only matched by the people who operate it. The greens are fast but true and, though the course is in transition it is well kept. The tee boxes are always level and well maintained. This course gets alot of play but you can tell the crew care about it.
The course has unreasonable pin positions
Pin positions were tucked in the most difficult places
sand bunkers
sand bunkers is hard ground. needs more sand (lots)
