About
The West Course at Eagle Valley Golf Course winds through the Carson City foothills at the base of the Eastern Sierra. The links-style layout features an interesting variety of holes that provide a formidable test for even the most advanced players. The fairways are lined with native desert vegetation that grows tall enough to provide some challenge and several water hazards are strategically placed throughout. The dramatic elevation changes in the rolling landscape also require forced carries. Accuracy is vital to doing well on the golf course, offering a true risk-and-reward experience. For golfers wanting a more relaxed round, Eagle Valley offers the less daunting East Course.

Bunkers
The bunkers were like hitting off hard pack sand. Lots of puddles of water in them. Other than that everything was great
fairways and rough
Fairways are coming around, looks like they need a little more time to grow in some spots. The four of us wish that the primary rough was cut shorter "OR" your maintenance guys cut an approx 5ft "first cut" on both sides of the fairways. Sometimes when one hits a good drive and the ball just trickles off the fairway it hits the tall primary rough first. You need a first cut. Please try this everyone will be very happy! Rest of course was good! THANKS.

Desert golfing
Ego building layout , narrow and long .
In great shape nice and early for this area .
Not used to desert golfing , NO shade anywhere on this course . Not a tree in site lol .
Could use a drinking fountain or two .

Extremely well maintained, challenging but beautiful course. For the price eagle valley is an amazing course for players of all levels of play. Highly recommend.

Too muvh consyruction going on all over the course. Its noidy and very distracting.
