Located justhalf-hour drive from both Lake Tahoe and Reno, Sunridge Golf Club features monster holes and mammoth lakes. The 669-yards par 5 11th - the longest hole in the scenic High Sierras region and then some - draws your attention as soon as you look at the scorecard. But the 26 acres of water on the golf course will probably provide more challenge and thrills.

There's also a hole with a 300-foot drop from the tee to the fairway (No. 14), a tiny par 3 19th bet-decider hole and a ton of driveable par 4s that almost beg for you to go for it. As a bonus, Sunridge Golf Club's green fees wow many vacationers used to Tahoe pricing.

What's going on there?

First time there where we were disappointed! Tee boxes need some work, most fairways need watering (you have water right there in those ponds), sand traps fair, and it looks like you are still working on your greens aerating and fertilizing them.That should of been done by now, other courses are done and are looking real good right now, it looks like it is lagging there somewhat. We like playing there a lot, but we may have to wait awhile now until you catch up on the maintenance. Not mad, just disappointed. See ya soon! Staff is great_thanks!!

wait a couple weeks

I love this course when the conditions are good. elevation changes and abundance of water make it challenging. not impressed yesterday. give it a couple weeks for the greens to recover from punching and sanding.

Course not ready yet.

Spring maintenance is going on right now, the course is in bad shape. Everyone is great there, we like playing there, but they shouldn't charge full price when the course looks like this. It should be half off until they get it back in shape. We'll be back but not for a little while.

Fun layout. Greens were good. Fairways were so so. Nice staff. Good value. I’d definitely play it again. Hopefully it will green up nicely in the upcoming weeks. Lots of potential.

2nd time there this winter

The course was in decent shape for being in the middle of Jan. Our only gripe was all the ball marks in the green. My friend and I fixed some on every hole. We know that every mark can't be fixed, but it would be nice if the course could run out and fix some of the really big ones. Be back soon if the weather holds up.

Never grow tired of this course

Sunridge is one of those courses you have to play to understand both its beauty and challenge. The hills on holes 6-9 and 14-18 make it a hard to walk course, but the scenery is magnificent.
