East at Eagle Valley Golf Course
About
The East Course is one of two championship courses at Eagle Valley Golf Course. Although it is less challenging than the West Course, it offers the same quality and entertainment. Golfers who aren't ready to take on the West will feel comfortable on the East. Situated at the base of the Eastern Sierra in the heart of the Silver Country, the golf course offers scenic views that complement the rustic setting. The layout is wide open, making it ideal for beginning to intermediate players. There are some long holes and a few bunkers but it is a forgiving course that is great for a casual round.

Wide open and fun
EV East has wide open fairways that you can absolutely bomb from the back tees. I enjoyed the quality of the greens and fairways. The lawn had just been clipped and it was all over which made it a messy round and stained white Nikes. There was a lot of standing water, but it did not impact play. Bunkers were mud and rock pits not maintained during Covid I guess. Overall I enjoyed the day and the pairing. Pace of play was excellent and no problems finishing quick. Highly recommend this course for the higher handicap golfer who may or may not have wayward drives. :)
Enjoy!
Wide open and fun
I came up to Tahoe for a birthday weekend getaway. Wanted to play some golf that wouldn’t break the bank. Found this place. I read some reviews and figured it would be stress free fun. It was fantastic. We tee’d off early and beat the heat. The fairways were wide and the greens were not slow but not fast either. I could definitely come out this way to play again and maybe even try the West course too.
Super fun, easy and straightforward
Had a birthday weekend up in Tahoe. I wanted to have fun, easy golf course and found it on the east course. The drive to the course was easy and didn’t take long from Tahoe. The course was super fun and the greens rolled great. I would love to come back and play this again or even try the west course. This place was great.
Fun
Course is highly unusual in that there are few trees and hazards. Fairways are in great shape and greens are first rate
Very Good Deal for the $$
For the online deal I got via TeeOff Golf, this was a very good deal. The course is reasonably in good condition albeit needing some care and attention in certain areas, especially the cart paths and patches on the course itself. Some areas were over watered and soggy, I am not sure if that was as a result of the recent afternoon thunderstorms. The staff was friendly and most everyone I encountered were COVID-19 compliant and observant. I played the East course and also played the West course a few weeks ago and that course was not as “maintenance needy” as this course.
Overall, my experience was very good and will return given another good deal from TeeOff Golf
a good walk
This is a good course to walk, fairly flat and many holes are forgiving and allow some great scoring. Play on Sunday afternoon will have some slow play so be patient. Still our round was just less than 4.5 hours with a t-time at 1:10pm.
Practice round
Good course for working on changes in your swing. Wide open fairways, bunkers around most greens and greens with some different elevations
Course is looking good!!!
The course is looking great and the greens are rolling good. I will definitely be back to play again
First time out for the season! It felt REALLY GOOD to get back out on the course again. The course was in pretty good shape & I liked the precautionary measures taken to keep your guests safe. I especially liked the new pin design, where the ball is allowed to fall, but not to the bottom of the cup. Very smart. See you again later this week!
long distance
If you're not a long ball hitter, this is the course for you. During the winter months the fairways are semi dormant and the roll-out is very good. Also the elevation (4700ft) aids the distance. So if your getting a little older or just want to hit it 20 to 40yds farther, GO PLAY!
We love this course, it is always nicely taken care of!
we never have a problem , it usually runs very smooth
with all the Golfers. The Restaurant, and the Bathrooms, incl. on the fairways are always clean ,
The People who run the place are very friendly, and always helpful. We have in mind to sign up as Members.
Open up
Wide open fairways. Good conditions. Challenging greens. Wear sunscreen- lots of sun and wind. Would play it again.
