About
Located in Little River, S.C., Eagle Nest opened in 1971 and was designed by Golf Course Architect Gene Hamm. The layout is laid out across 250 acres of gently rolling land, rare for a course near Myrtle Beach. The course has been upgraded recently and includes a set of "Perch" tee boxes that play over 8,100 yards, making it the state's longest golf course.
Super senior and player-friendly tee boxes up front have also been installed. This traditional low country layout features not only rolling undulations in it but mature Carolina pines, an abundance of wildlife and beautiful natural landscaping.

What a dumb po Anna greens fairways terrible would not play it again if it was for free slow play very disappointed

Just OK
Seemed really chaotic checking in, staff seemed frustrated and stressed. We couldn't get a cart to get situated in until the last minute. Was paired with two singles we didn't know and had never played the course before either. Signage as to where the next hole is would be very helpful. Encountered equipment on the course several times including one hole where we teed off with a tractor running down the middle of the fairway, We were totally lost at one point. No coolers allowed but no cart service so why no coolers? Just an odd and not very enjoyable round.

Practice round
Played a practice round leading up to tournament. Mid March and grass is still dormant. Greens got better on back 9.

Short for the seniors and Gold tees, challenging from the White.
Grounds were under repair looks like they are taking it to another level. In few years this will be a premier, sought after course. We look forward to coming back.
Nice layout
The course is interesting but the fairways are in poor conditions and It took almost 5 hours to play.,

We had a fun round of golf. This golf course is beautiful. It was a little wet and cold when we were there but we came dressed for it. The ladies in the club house were very friendly and did a fine job of waiting on us.
