The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Great conditions, nice layoit

I enjoyed playing this course and found the greens, tee boxes and fairways to be very well maintained. I paid the “hot deal” rate and would be willing to pay the full market rate, however I do enjoy other courses a little more at that price point. At the full rate I would not feel cheated, it would be a matter of preference and time.

Don't let the yardage fool you, It is a challenge.

The relatively short yardage made me think this would be an easy track. Not the case, the design paired with very penal long rough means you better keep it in the fairway. Staff was ridiculously friendly, Pro shop guys, cart guys, starter, everyone was helpful and nice. Biggest drawback i can see here is the lack of a true driving range, but that won't stop me, i will definitely be back many times.
