About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Just ok
Course is generally in good shape but if it looks like the course is wide open it is not a possible option during the week if you need to get a round in quickly because they will ALWAYS pair you up with partners. I don’t mind playing with fellow golfers I don’t know when the course is crowded but when it is wide open and the fellow golfer adds an extra hour or more to a round that could otherwise be played much faster it is beyond frustrating.
The course is in excellent condition. The only drawback is the lack of a range on the property. The beverage cart came by multiple times and the updated GPS in the cart is a welcome addition. The course is not long, but the green complexes make posting a good score challenging.

We do have a range located at the south end of our property. Please check in at pro shop and pick up the range balls. Arrive early as you have to drive your vehicle to the range.

Made it through 14 and then the Heavens opened. Got absolutely drenched on the way back to the clubhouse..lol. Overall a great course to play for $40. Would definitely go back.

Cart path only makes it a trying round. Many muddy area needed time to dry as we played early.

Good value
Course has been in good shape each time I’ve played it. Course was fairly open for our front nine, but hit a wall when the two of us got to 10 tee. We then waited on every shot and the back nine took us almost 3 hours. Not uncommon when I’ve played here. I will evaluate other courses before I return.
