About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Nice course
The day we played it was cart path only till noon. It happens. The ranger did what he could to get the foursome in front of us to move along but the first 10-11 holes were brutally slow. The thickness of the rough didn’t help matters. Too much time spent looking for balls that were just off the fairway. Overall, it’s a nice course with a great staff.

Short and fun
The course is soaking wet he was car path only ,tha cars Have a GPS I don’t know why they don’t put this on fence So maybe you can roll the car in some places but the greens are in good shape. the speed is a little bit inconsistent. But Overall a good round

Greens were perfect. All the rain left the fairways super saturated in some areas. Any ball in the rough is hard to find as the rough has grown to several inches in some spots. The chipping and putting greens are nice but there is not a range to warm up. The course is short but the undulating greens and rough provide a good challenge. Once the fairways dry out (if the rain ever stops) the course will be back in 5 ***** shape.

The dozen or so people that I’ve seen here regularly are the best team in the county. Starting with Tom making the rounds to keep the tempo of play on point.

Wait for dryer conditions
The course is in good shape, especially the greens which are in excellent condition and rolling really well.
Only negative is that it isn't draining very well. Cart path only. Fairways are wet, off the fairways is extremely wet. To properly enjoy this gem, wait for a few weeks of dry weather before booking.
There is not a cart accessible range here, so if you want to warm up, plan on arriving early as you need to drive further into the neighborhood in your car to hit balls.

The construction was in good shape. I enjoyed the course but not the heat. It final cool down and then cam the rain. Overall a very good course.
