About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Great Shape for it being Summer
Hot and sunny day. Course was in very good condition, lot's of green grass showing very little heat stress. Greens were quite slow, maybe an 8 on the stimp. Played Disney and Orange County National last two rounds before this one and puts were coming up short to very short all day (2-6ft short). Greens were well kept and firm, just slow. Definitely would play it again.

Hot deal; hot day
Teed off at 12:40 on a golf now hot deal. The pace of play was great and so was the condition of the course. Ventura is a short course but worth the $$.

Ventura golf ⛳️
Always a good value, and course conditions are almost always good... I'm glad they went through the re-do a couple years ago, cause it drains much better!
I'm surprised more golfers 🏌️♂️ don't end up at the 19th hole, food is very good, and drinks 🍸are cheap!
If you want long par 4's go up the road to Rio Pinar, but I like this layout. 👌
Great value
Ventura one of few options on the east side of town without going to the coast. Enjoyable layout, short but demanding. I hit every club in the bag except the 5-iron.

Fun
Above average greens and fairways. Certainly not a $60 course more in the $40 range. Need driving range closer. Cart girl needs more presence

Short course but tough....
Only a 6000 yard par 70 course from the tips, 35/35 with 3 par threes on each nine. What makes this course tough is the tight fairways and several long par 3's,
Course is always in great condition. They really need a drop zone for the par 5 6th hole due to the long carry over water off the tee.

No refreshments
Enjoyed the course but there was little to no water
Stations and on refreshments cart let the hole experience down .
Thanks for playing the New Ventura CC! We have drinks in pro shop, restaurant, water bottle filling stations at Pro Shop, 4th green, 6th green, 9th green, and 15th tee. Occasionally we do not have a bev cart on Mondays and Tuesdays. Hope to see you soon on the course!

Fairways in good shape, greens are good, $3 glass of wine 🍷 after the round 👌
Coming along nicely
The greens are in excellent shape! The fairways are above average for this rime of year! There are a few tee boxes which need some TLC to bring them around. The pace of play was a little slow with having to wait on several holes! Overall a good option for an afternoon tee time!

Course was in excellent shape. Pace of play was extremely slow and we ended up quitting after 12 holes and 4 hours.
Thanks for playing the New Ventura CC! We pride ourselves on great pace of play and pristine playing conditions. Our recent renovation and switching the 9's has helped our pace tremendously. We are 6002 yards, so on busy days when players try to drive par 4's unsuccessfully, pace suffers.
Overall we always love Ventura. Couple of the greens were a little rough and they were extra furry as I’m assuming they are trying to get them to grow back. Rest of the course was in good shape and the staff is always super friendly.
Restaurant left a little to be desired with staff but food was average.

Course was in great shape! $66 too expensive for Ventura..$40-45 would be more palatable.
