About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Nice Community Course
Ventura Country Club (or The Vent) was a very nice and enjoyable course given the size of the community it was part of and a good value for the price.
I found the fairways and greens to be in good shape, although everything was pretty firm - but that could have been because there has not been a lot of rain lately.
There are a lot of elevated greens and several hidden holes, so bring your short game. Also, almost every hole has water on one side or another, but usually allows for error to the opposite side, so is a very manageable course for high handicappers.
My only complaint would be the pace of play or, really, lack of any course ranger. My tee time was at 4:10 p.m. and the next group teed off immediately after me even though their tee time wasn't for another 10 minutes. And the group behind them did the same. It made the whole course very busy and backed up.

great short course
Great course for those who have lost some driving distance. Course enough challenges for everyone. Good value, good shape and staff is friendly

Nice round with good pace of play on a well maintained course
We had a nice round withhold pace of play on a well maintained course. Greens were nice and also most fairways ( dry weather makes it more difficult to maintain). T-boxes ok but I always tee-up so no issue.

Great value and good greens
The course has come a long way since the remodel. Greens were in great shape, rolled well and were decently quick. Fairways were good and while some tee boxes need work but they are tee boxes so I don’t put too much into that for overall course review. It’s a tight track with lots of OB and water so make sure you’re hitting it straight. It does get pretty crowded so the round moves slower than average, but for the $$ it is an excellent choice. Great value and we will be back as long as greens stay in condition they were when we played. It definitely beats many other courses charging $80 or more still as it is starting to get really hot really fast.

Very playable course
Not extra long and do to dry conditions played a bit short. One tough par 5 on front side due to big water carry. Otherwise this course will not beat you up fun course. Staff friendly and great pace that day.
