About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Well kept course with good greens and fairways
Greens appeared to have been recently aerated but were in good condition and quite tricky
Pace of play good with our 4 ball finishing in under 4 hours (12.40 tee time )
Pro shop staff a little abrupt but cart guys
And bar staff very friendly
Would definitely return if in area

Decent course
I played this course a few years ago with some Golf Channel staff and an LPGA player. It has improved, but I found the staff rude and/or disinterested.

A Pleasure to play Ventura
Ventura is one of my favorite courses. I love to play here - Played many rounds here in the past 3 months. The course has a great layout. Although there are a few tight holes, it is relatively open with a fair share of water hazards and pleasure to play. The pace of play is steady. I don't recall playing any round much over 4 hours. The staff are friendly, courteous. The greens are in great shape, not super fast and quite predictable. The fairways are well maintained in good shape. Most of the tee boxes are decent although a few are worn.
Overall, we found this course to be of good quality and very enjoyable. It offer excellent value for money on GN hot deal. We will certainly play it again!

Same as Stoneybrooks, Metrowest, Rio essentially
Very few signs to direct you to next hole (aka after hole 3 or 4) and finding 10. No starter out on a busy saturday, lots of casual/first time golfers here it seemed.
Decent bunkers, fluffy greens (slow putts), decent drink prices on the beverage cart, fairly hard to lose balls here.

The GPS in each cart will certainly lead you around the course along with the cart path.
Try it, you'll like it.
This place has a great challenging layout. For the most part it is in pretty good shape. We got behind some pretty slow players but the ranger kept on them. I think you're gonna like it.

Boole for the price
The course is ok, if you get a good deal $40 or less and need a practice round it’s fine. It’s short, open and is a good place to hit a few balls. Staff. Was great!

Great course
Ventura surprised me big time. Really nice layout. Conditions were really nice compared to others I have played the last 2 months In this area. The par 3's are really really long from the tips. It is only 6000 yards but 4 par 3's are well over 200 yds . One is even 238 yds.
The front I found was much more difficult than the back.
All in all enjoyed my day alot. Would gladly return to play such a nice course. Congratulations to all staff.
