Ventura Country Club

If you were looking for a great conditioned course from tee to green then go to Ventura. We haven't played there since the updates. Key boxes all had grass and firm ground to tee up in Fairways were excellent greens were in perfect condition but not rolling too fast but they are true. In the afternoon the pace of play is the best I've seen around. For the price one of the best deals in town just a little shorter course but the short holes you can still hit a big Club go have fun

Pace of play was only an issue on the last 5 holes when a two ball that was obviously new to the game kept re-hitting even as my partner and I waited for them on every shot. There was no one in front of them when we caught up to them. On the last hole the two ball in front of us picked up my tee ball and drove away with it. A Suggestion to the course manager would be to have a Marshall check on each group to see how their experience is and try to assist if possible to make sure all guests enjoy their time at the course.

Course in great shape. Play was super slow. 10-15 minute wait on most holes. No rangers to speed up play. Took over 5 hours to play

Came to Orlando for 12 days and played few courses. Ventura was best 😁🙌

The course is in excellent condition. The pace of play was the only complaint. Time of play was 5 hours. Waited 10-15 minutes on every hole. No rangers to pick up pace. Love the course but would caution anyone when recommending.

The best course in Orlando for the price. Recommend this course to other who enjoy golfing.

From the tips it’s about 6000 yds. Most Par 3s are long from the tips . One par 4 front nine you have to carry about 200 yds to the fairway. Greens were a bit slow but were nice . Only noticed one green back nine that had some repairs at the edge. Overall a nice course . My wife liked it and we would definitely come back .

Staff there is always awesome. I play this course at least once a week and there’s a reason or two I keep going back.

I recommend Ventura to others looking for a great course that is not so expensive.

Fairways and greens were in really good shape. Not a whole lot of dry spots considering the time of year. Electric carts with GPS were nice. Had a few physical bathrooms with bottle filling stations throughout the course. Perhaps a smidge pricier than we would’ve hoped but it’s Florida and 2024, hard to complain when the course was great and only $50

I have a group that likes to play here at least twice a month, beautiful course, nice layout, and some challenging holes to say the least.

However, I just played with the same group this past Saturday (May 4th) and after practicing at the chipping area we went to go get our carts and they informed us that we would have a single in our group which was fine. This was about 5 minutes before we had to tee off and so I just told the cart attendants that just let the single know we are going to be on the tee box and he could just bring the cart when they get there. So, it was time for us to tee off and we did and was able to play the first two holes and our 4th still hasn't shown up and so before heading to the third hole I stopped by the cart barn to see if he has arrived and they said he no showed and there was an empty cart and I asked if I could take it and the older gentleman pointed and so I assumed I could put my stuff on the cart and as I was doing so in a very aggressive tone he looked at me and said "Did I say you can take the cart.." and at this point this is the second time he has said something rude upon me being there and so I said, well I still need a cart since we are heading to the next hole and the guy didn't show and I paid for one... He then went on to exchange a few more words that truly made me uncomfortable before the other younger cart attendant was like you can just take the cart in which I did and the older one responded sarcastically with "see what did I tell you, you can take the cart"...

Truly didn't want to play but wasn't going to be the sour apple in my group and leave them short.

Course is always kept in great condition. Narrow course. Not long but challenging. Greens in excellent shape. One of the better courses around and one of my personal favorites.
