About

The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Coming along nicely

The greens are in excellent shape! The fairways are above average for this rime of year! There are a few tee boxes which need some TLC to bring them around. The pace of play was a little slow with having to wait on several holes! Overall a good option for an afternoon tee time!

Thanks for playing the New Ventura CC! We pride ourselves on great pace of play and pristine playing conditions. Our recent renovation and switching the 9's has helped our pace tremendously. We are 6002 yards, so on busy days when players try to drive par 4's unsuccessfully, pace suffers.

Overall we always love Ventura. Couple of the greens were a little rough and they were extra furry as I’m assuming they are trying to get them to grow back. Rest of the course was in good shape and the staff is always super friendly.

Restaurant left a little to be desired with staff but food was average.

This course is always in excellent condition. The greens have more grain than most courses in the area so reading putts can be a challenge. The practice area consists of a putting green, practice bunker and chipping area. They do not have space for a range. The course yardage is not long, so look at the scorecard prior to selecting your tees. The redesigned greens have lots of slopes and make the course a challenge

Great course

Course was in really good shape. Greens were nice, fairways were in good shape, and grass on the tee boxes. Fun layout that isn’t very long making it enjoyable to play. New golf cars with gps was also a plus. A little expensive but with the course shape and new carts it’s a pretty good deal compared to some of the other courses around.

Amazing Conditions

First time playing this course, played while visiting from Fort Lauderdale. You can absolutely not get a better deal than this place back home. 4:50 Tee Time, pace was a bit slow but I was playing alone. The course is in AMAZING shape, the greens and fairways were GREAT! I would drive the 3 hours from to play here again ahahaha. Shout out to Chuck in the pro shop!
