About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Greens
The course is nice except for the greens which are a disaster. The weather has made a mess out of them. I would not play this course again because of that.

Overall the course plays fine...the greens ...they're losing a few of them, sorry to see.

Great Course Plan on being there a While
The newly done course at Ventura is beautiful! The greens and fairways were well manicured and the staff was friendly!
The downside is there is never a Marshall riding around encouraging slower players to speed it up! That makes for a very looonngg day! We finally gave up at 15 amd went home
Thanks for playing the New Ventura CC! Sorry to hear about your issue with slower players. Please call the Pro Shop whenever needed as we do not have a player assistant on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Pro Shop number 407-277-2640 is on the scorecard. We would have certainly taken care of the pace.

I like this course
This is a very enjoyable course to play…..friendly people ….well-maintained…challenging, but not really that hard ….I can usually shoot the mid 90s which is average for me. Certainly worth checking out.

Fun day at Ventura
The course was a ton of fun - mostly becasue of the couple we were paired with, Drizzle on and off didn't dampen our spirits. We will definitely be back.

Some Quirky Holes
We found the course in good condition and the greens putted true. Don’t let the yardage fool you. We played from the tips (6000 yds) and it made some holes a bear. One par 3, there were 6 hence the par 70, played 240 into the wind and one par 5 played 585 into the wind. There were some short par 4s, 300ish, where you need to make your scores. This was our first time playing the course, so, hopefully, we’ll have a little course knowledge the next time.
Good little course
Well maintained except for the tee boxes which they are working on. Best sand traps in central Florida!
