About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

This is the fourth time.
What can I say . . . . this is the fourth time you're asking me to rate THIS COURSE.
It is only a couple of miles from my home and the price is right. If there is availability I will sign-up with them again.
Good condition, 3 hour round
Played as a twosome. We only waited once on the tee. We were not pushed, and we did not push anyone, and we played the afternoon round in less than 3 hours. Great greens, good fairways and tee boxes.
I played pretty well, with one triple bogey, three bogeys, two birdies.

Great course
Course was in exceptional condition, greens in great shape. Forgiving fairways yet enough challenges with water along most holes to keep it interesting. Will definitely play again

The Return
We have not played Ventura in some time. Partially due to renovations and some travel distance challenges. We enjoyed the new layout of some of the holes. The greens were in great shape and ran true. Fairways were great a couple of tee-boxes were okay. Staff very friendly. With the new layout, we'd like to come back and give it another go.

Course in good shape now fix the other things.
The course is in good shape compared to just a year ago, but the carts using the GPS boundary system were constantly slowing us down in the fairway and on the cart path, mentioned this to the cart staff and they didn't seem to care. The restaurant on site is closed, this should be mentioned on golf now somewhere as there is no food to be found other than chips or peanuts.

They have changed the fairways on a number of holes and altered a number of greens to make them larger with more undulation.
The course needs to "weather" more before the greens will be rolling truer . . . . !!

New Greens and Fairways . . . . !!
The only problem was being able to get a TEE into the ground in the tee-box . . . . !!
They have recently closed their 19th. hole because of some issues . . . . !!
Thanks for playing the New Ventura CC! Since our renovation we have been dealing with extremely firm tee areas due to compaction but we are routinely aerating and the results have been great! The 19th Hole is back open and the summer hours are weekdays 11am-8pm and weekends 8am-8pm.

Course was in good condition. Greens brilliant. Had two single players behind us, should of paired them up as we had to let them through. Hot day but no where to hydrate after as the clubhouse was shut. 😢

Played Ventura CC
I played Ventura CC on 2 May and really enjoyed the course. I recommend this course to other golfers looking for a course that’s challenging and in good condition.
Great Fun Course
1st time to area. I was very surprised how fun this course was. Greens were spectacular. Only recommendation is to upgrade the rental clubs. We had lefty and right clubs mixed in and not a full set. Clubs were old as well
