Ventura Country Club
About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Golfer Reviews
Great greens!
The greens were in great shape when I played. Very firm and fast. The pace of play is always a bit slow at Ventura because of the amount of play it gets.
The par 3s are long and challenging from the black tees.
Rock solid par 70. What it may lack in length it makes up for in layout. Friendly staff. Good time!
Greens were in good shape
First time here at Ventura CC. It was a shotgun start at 830. 80 golfers meant the pace of play was good. The course was in good shape. Some of the tee boxes were rough from play and very wet from watering. The layout was good with many short par 4s. Lots of water made you think about tee shots and laying up on a couple par 5s.
More different than I remember
I haven’t played Ventura in about 10 years, they have redone the course since the last time I was there, shorter course with some reachable par 4s. Makes it super fun but definitely more challenging greens than before, they rolled a good speed but were hard so had to adjust to play more forward on the greens on approach definitely will be playing here again, missed how fun this course is!
New Greens and Fairways . . . . !!
The changes they have made to many of the holes make it a challenge and the undulating greens add to the pressure. The carts have electronics attached and help to identify how much you still have to play.
A great afternoon but slowed down at the 15th. through 18th. hole.
Always a great track!
Since the remodel it can be hard to find a tee time, but I'm glad to know it's because they're not overpacking the course!
From tee to green the conditions are great. The new bigger greens are not easier but I welcome the challenge.
This course is still short, but it plays tough. Get yourself in position and you can score. Get out of position and your first priority should be to get back in the fairway.
I'm super happy with this course and really wish they had more memberships open to the public.
