Really enjoyed the course and the layout. Would definitely recommend it.

Enjoyed Ventura this weekend. Par 70, 6000 yards. Course is challenging without being long. Greens are full of twists and turns. Entire course is in great shape.

Don’t be fooled by these reviews they just caught a good day I’m a local and live right by the course every time I play it’s a tourist trap and 5/6 hour rounds waiting 30min on the tee box stay away from here and Rio down the road

Always enjoy playing Ventura, however, the day we played we found that getting something 'light' to eat at the turn took much longer than usual. Four groups got around us going from #9 to #10 before we got our hotdogs! It delayed our back nine quite a bit. Overall the experience was good.

1st visit here. Good layout and lovely clubhouse. Thought it was good value and pace of play was excellent 3hrs and 45 mins for a 4 ball, never waiting.. Greens were fast and true but were very hard as were the fairways which meant lots of shots that hit both were running or bouncing off and as there was little growth in the margins a few balls ended up in the hazards. Bunkers were in good condition compared to some we played. Would definitely come back.

Got to say they’re the only place not over booking right now. I’ve played on many Mondays and Thursdays past two months now and they’re very fun 4 hour ish rounds. Best kept secret in Orlando for the price and quality. Hope that stays the same!!

Fun and challenging course that must be played very strategically to score well.

I really enjoyed this course the last time I played it before the renovation that took place last year, but I was very disappointed this time. I thought the greens were not what I envisioned after being shut down for such a long time and the course itself had do many bare spots. The condition certainly didn’t warrant having golf carts that can’t get you anywhere close to the greens. And to top it off we had to wait on every hole because of the backup.

This place is so good and I would play every day if given the chance.

Overall, the course was nice. This is only my second Florida course, but other than how I played, it was good. I'm used to playing in Arizona and it seems the average course conditions here are a bit less than I'm used to. However the greens were in good shape although not consistent - some fast some slow. I'd recommend going because of the value. I may go back, but there are way too many other courses for me to try first.

This place has everything except a nice driving range. It is adequate though. The staff is great. The pro shop is stocked and clean. The restaurant had snacks and meals at the turn ready. The course itself was the best part. The change’s recently made are obvious. Every aspect of the layout was fun, challenging and kept it interesting. For what I paid compared to the prices of other courses in the area I would pick Ventura again and again.

Beautiful course. Would encourage better signage for each hole. Also, a beverage cart would have been appreciated!
