Ventura Country Club
About
The golf course at the Ventura Country Club, situated east of Orlando near many major highways and the airport, is semi-private but the facility welcomes outside play. It is a short course that features undulating greens with sudden breaks. The golf course has challenging par-3 holes that put a premium on shot accuracy. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout as well as water hazards on 14 holes. Most of the well-manicured fairways are lined with homes. The par-5, 13th hole is Ventura Country Club's signature hole. It requires a shot from an elevated tee over water and past thick forestry on the left and an approach shot to small, well protected green that slopes back to front.

Golfer Reviews
Even better
This course has been a little hidden gem for years
Now with its makeover its my favorite course
This is a nice course but needs irrigation
Generally like playing this course. The greens are undulating and in very good condition. But found them to be very slow and in need of cutting or rolling. The tee boxes are so dry it is difficult to get the tee in the ground. It has some very interesting holes which make it fun to play.
Nice course - excellent restaurant
Not a long course, but in nice shape. Tee boxes need watering as hard to get tee into some. Nice greens, a little slow.
Always a great day
The course, which has undergone a massive updating and improvement, was a fun outing. Although so much of the larger greens are new and not yet mature, they were great. A word of caution - if you're using a Garmin golf watch, it is still calibrated to the old yardages, which are not always the same now and can lead to some surprises.
First time there
Staff friendly, course lay out good. Fair amount of sand. A lot of water along fairway some to hit over. Tee boxes were extremely dry. It was difficult to push tees in. Food good. Nice bar and clubhouse.
Great layout
The course was in very good condition considering they underwent a major renovation last year. We were teamed up with two locals ( Bruce & Pete) and they provided a great history of the course and renovations. I would definitely play this course when I’m in the Orlando area and it’s available through Golf Now.
First time back since remodel
I played this course all the time before the remodel. First time back and they made this course so much more fun to play. Added a set of tees and changed the majority of the green complexes. The greens are now much more challenging and fun to play.
Renewed and goos condition
Greens rolling great but fast and hard to land the ball due to new greens, but adds to the challenge. Great changes and way better than before. Definitely a good course to play.
1st time since renovations!
I love this course! I once shot a 63 here a few years ago. I like the new renovations, especially adding black tees! Gives more choices on what to hit off the tee. Adding cart gps was nice as well. I still am not used to the change in hole numbers, but I love the change in the old #9, new #18 hole. Really became a risk reward hole with the change!
