Sanctuary Ridge Golf Club

Florida courses are usually flat, but sanctuary ridge has lots of hills so you are shooting up on one hole and down on another which makes for a very interesting round of golf. Course was in great shape as usual.

The course is in good shape for this time of year. Tee boxes,fairways,and greens were above average. There were a lot of bumpy areas between the tee box and fairways, which made for a rough cart ride.

We would like to try this course for revenge.

First time to thisncourse and really enjoyed it. Elevation changes reminded me of western PA courses. Greens were in good shape; fairways less so, traps needed attention. Folks were friendly and pace was excellent. Some tee shots are a bit blind, so advise you to drive up and get a line and check if the fairway is clear before hitting.

Nice fairways, greens roll true. Great layout with lots of elevation changes provides a true challenge and wonderful views. Miss into the rough and you will be pay for it. I enjoy this course and keep it in our regular rotation.

By far the most elevation changes in this area. Difficult layout for a first timer, you need several rounds to master this track. Missing the fairway will cost you dearly! The second cut was 6-12 inches deep! Many blind shots and tricky greens. If you're looking for a challenge, this is it.

Really enjoyed this course. With its elevation changes and challenging layout it's a course I will definitely play again. Only downfall was an awful odor in the clubhouse that prevented us from staying to check out the restaurant.

Playing Sanctuary Ridge is always a blast...the elevation changes define this course and set it apart from any other course around.. The entire set up of the course is fun, challenging, and scenic...its also inn great shape for the summer time with plush fairways and great greens...highly recommended to any one looking for something besides the traditional flat country club layout

Second time at SR. Very enjoyable day. Starter worked hard to get us off early and the single that joined us was wonderful and fun. Elevation changes are dramatic and I like the lay out. Like most CF courses right now the grass is sketchy in places but the greens/tees were very nice. We'll go back.

Sanctuary Ridge, definitely lived up to the hype. The undulations made themselves very apparent on the drive into the parking lot. On the course, the second hole is a par 3 that is severely downhill. That is just the start of the hills and thrills. Staff was very friendly. Didn't play my best, but I didn't let that take away from the experience. Got rained out after 14 holes, missed out on a few signature holes. Will have to go back and finish the round.

After playing many courses in the Orlando region this was a new course for me? Driving towards clermont I noticed the change in surrounding already? More hills. Very friendly caddie master explained us a lot in advance, free range balls! The course itself was nice, greens due to summertime not fast but difficult enough. Nice course layout, enough space, many shots difficult because of the high difference! On the top of the hill is the clubhouse situated, nice view even to Orlando! Friendly personal in the restaurant and the food was good as well!

Had a great day at the Sanctuary! We wrong to the wrong entrance as it's not on Hwy 50 anymore. Gop past Target and come in on the side. Super friendly staff and run hilly course. Play it twice!!!

Fairways were beautiful. Greens were okay but had been punched about 10 days ago. Hard to keep ball on line. Speed also an issue with the bounces. Please grade and fill yhe areas at the departure end of the cart paths.

We live this course. They had aerated the green

We had a great experience. Course is in above average condition. Greens are challenging because they are tough to read. Fairways are wide open on most holes. This is a course you will have to play a few times to get used to the layout and to know what your club choices should be.

Fun course with a lot of up and down and blind shots. Course overall is in great shape. Staff was very friendly and big coolers of ice water every 3 holes was greatly appreciated.

Staff was awesome from beginning to end!

Lunch was great... Best Burger in town!

Sanctuary is worth every $$$

If your used to playing courses that are flat this will be a special treat for you the elevation is crazy it's like your not playing in Florida.

This I a great course , I would play there again.
