Course was in terrible condition. Like hitting out of sand on most shots. VERY hilly. Would not recommend for older people or if you have leg/knee issues like we do. Many blind shots. We have been coming almost every year for last 10 and this was one of the worst courses we have ever played
They’ve given up...
A great layout, with more potential than most in Central Florida....BUT...it requires an effort.
I was back today for my second -and last- round. They’ve completely given up on the course. Conditions, from tee boxes, fairways, greensand bunkers are all atrocious. Let’s be clear, the greens are mostly dead and covered with sand. On some, massive holes have been cut out of the green leaving deep holes that resemble a floor grate opening.
Bunkers are not managed. Forget not raked, they’re growing in with weeds and crap with no apparent effort made at all to even clean it out.
Tee boxes? The only grass growing is weeds. Fairways? Same as the tee box you just hit from.
It’s really sad given the resurgence of the golf business through Covid. The owners either don’t have any money, or don’t care enough to spend it to create a quality product.
If it was $25 with a cart, I’d say go beat the ball around and have some fun...but for $40+ there is too much good golf in the area to waste it here.

fairways are worn, spotty grass, greens were worn out,, more mid-summer burn-out condition than winter/spring condition as area courses are usually pristine for the snow-birds this time of year..

Worst course conditions I’ve ever seen
Obviously the owners don’t care about golf.
Weeds growing out of the fairway bunker’s fairways and tee boxes all beat up...Greens in very poor condition...Weeds everywhere. Will never play there again...

Ehhhh......
Wow what a mixed bag....first arrived in plenty of time for 11:50 tee time only to find out they were out of carts...did not get to tee off until 12;25. Staff and starter were nice and professional. Greens though a little bumpy were lightning quick and probably the best part of cart -- although a few pin placements were looked like they were placed with no thought (i.e. blatantly unfair). Fairways, bunkers and tee boxes were abysmal...little or no grass, bunkers going to weed, basically horrible. Those factors along with the face they ran out of working carts before noon leads me to believe this course is in trouble, Which is a shame because it is a great layout.,...can not recommend in its current state

Many golfers on other courses will not play due to course condition, they are a conversation piece on the golf courses
Great lay out wish they would do basics
Rumor is they want to sell so they don't want to put any money into course

Scenic but odd
Course is rough around the edges but has some natural beauty to it. Scenery is amazing but the grass conditions were pretty tough. Very fun to play a wild hilly course like this in Florida. The starter is a pretty snide character, best just ignore his sarcasm and do not engage. The bar and grille is worth it also.

Disappointed
I haven’t played this course in years. Always loved it. I drove an hour to play and was deeply disappointed. The fairways had no grass . It was like hitting out of sand all day. Quit after 14 holes because of slow play.

Course condition
This course could be the jewel in the crown of Central Florida BUT it has not been taken care of as it should! The fairways are full of a crablike grass and pretty bare around those spots. The greens have major fungus problems and are really bumpy! Making a 4 foot putt is even harder on them! The course needs a greens keeper that can fix the issues and owners that are willing the invest a few hundred thousand dollars to make is a great layout! The elevation is at 85 feet with lots of rolling terrain so the views are wonderful. Too bad about the overall condition as it could be great!

OMG
This course is a nightmare. Will never return. Was like driving farmers fields, so bumpy. Ball couldn’t roll a straight line on the weedy greens.

Every green is diseased
Worst course I've ever played in Florida. Did not see 1 maintenance person on the course!!! the greens are awful.and not taken care of at all The course is very poorly marked for each hole!!! I will not be back to play this course even for 20.00 a round with cart. not worth it!!!

Challenging layout but needs attention. If the fairways and greens improve then it would’ve a tough track.

More grass can be found in a Walmart parking lot
The good things: hills in Florida, friendly staff and free beer. Everything else is a major disappointment. The tees and fairways were pretty much sand with a few blades of dormant or dead grass mixed in. The greens were painted but did actually have grass and were puttable but not enjoyable. Spoke with a local member and learned that the course is basically on life support and survives due to real estate development covenants that expire in another 7 years. Layout was fine, but chances are you will regret that you spent money to play here.
