About
Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Sanded greens
Really wish at the time of making reservations they had notice of the greens being aerated.

Changes going on
The course is definitely going through and upgrade. All the green traps have been upgraded and when finished will be the best of all of the many courses I played. They are certainly top notch. The greens were just punched, which resulted in less than usual number of players, which resulted in a 3 hour round. Look forward to visiting in a few weeks.

EAGLE VINES
This is the first time I have played this track in years, it has really grown in with larger trees and some tee changes, the greens were in great shape, back 9 are much tougher than front 9 the last few holes can have some tough pin placements. Some of the Tees are in poor shape and not very flat or I would have given this a 5, You expect the Tee to be the best place to hit from, not so on this track

Pace of play and overall quality
5 hour round and the marshal didn’t do anything to speed pace of play up ahead. Was at 4 hours on the round finishing our 12th hole. unacceptable. The front 9 is in really good shape because visitors and everyone sees it often but back 9 could use some work. The layout is fun but needs more care to the tee boxes and fairways. don’t see myself playing here again. not worth the $80+

Good but….
Practice range tee area could use a great deal of attention.
Tee boxes throughout the course need quite a bit of work.

Great weather and great course
They are still improving the bunkers, but are close to being finished. The bunkers that were done played nicely with adequate sand. First group out for the day and was finished in about four hours. Early morning play doesn’t provide an opportunity for the snack bar or cart person, but that’s normal. Got a great deal on GolfNow. Cheers

Highly recommend
Only sad thing about course they had wedding party couldn’t enjoy their food., btw long healthy life to newly married couple. Otherwise everything was in excellent condition. Loved Tod one of the greatest man I had chance to meet. Thank you very much
Nice day, Great golf
Golf was fun here again. The conditions were mostly good. Some bunkers are under reparir, but they said this, so not a surprise.
Pretty good pace. Two slow groups and no marshall to spee them up. One group let us pass, the other was 2 groups ahead, so we did not interact with them.
The course is challenging, but very fun.

To each their own
I’m thankful the club is finally investing to fix the bunkers but most of the tee boxes are a disgrace. How hard is it to maintain tee boxes? They’ve been in disrepair for years.

Course Good Shape
The overall course was in good shape, (not great shape). I understand doing work on the sand traps. I’ve never seen rock at the bottom before. Clubhouse afterwards was very nice. Host was very polite and kind.

Other than the course
The rental clubs were a joke. We rented 2 women sets and two men sets. Clubs were old, beat up, and had not been cleaned. Golf carts old but ran ok. No cart person all day. Lack of bathrooms on course and no water to drink. Concession at turn was not open.

Eagle Vine Experience
Eagle Vines course was in good shape when I played. The greens were well maintained. The sand traps were being renovated at the time. Good to see continuous improvements on the course. You can walk or ride a cart at this course.
