Groundskeeper was feeling sadistic when he put in the holes. I don’t ever recall 5-putting a green before. I did it twice on this round.

Tee boxes were garbage. They were torn up, never flat. Sometimes you’re teeing off on a side hill lie.

Bunkers garbage. Most had no sand, just hard compacted dirt (even greenside).

The practice putting green was nice but the greens on the course were slow and furry.

The best part of the course was the fairways. However, there were lots of muddy spots (on a hot day).

The rough was long, which is fine but adds to the length of the round because balls are getting lost in the rough. The round took five hours.

The course is extremely pretty so that’s what brings you back (plus the hope that course conditions will be improved).

The course was beautiful but some tee boxes were uneven and chewed up the greens was just far that day so all in all I’ll rate the course as just fair

Love playing here, only set back is pace of play most of the time, it's very slow, nevertheless it's a fun course to play.

Early morning tee time was great. I was told after paying my fees there was a tournament that would be starting at hole 12 by the time they projected my foursome to arrive at that hole. Surprisingly we played decent to avoid that juggernaut .

The course was a bit rough and a ton of crabgrass in the sparse fairways ! Tee boxes were reminiscent of a golf course struggling to uphold a past reputation and condition. Greens were fairly decent and the course overall was a 5+ out of 10. Pace of play was decent because us first five foursomes out were under 8 indexes . Would I play this course again, most likely no because it’s not a level of a course I’m particularly used to. Would I recommend it to at 10-30 index, yes. It’s a great course and has enough target golf shots on it to make it difficult for the higher index folks. This was my first time playing it and shot 3over from the tips and par is 73. The outside staff was friendly and what seemed to be the GM/Head Pro was kind. The gentleman taking the money seemed to have woken up in a hostile mood. I said it was my first time playing and he said “that’s nice good for you”…and said with sarcasm! So I won’t be back. There’s far more tracks in this state to play where you feel welcomed.

A great round and a great day. Played in just under four hours.

I have enjoyed playing this course on several occasions. The course is unique and challenging. The #1 hole is a tough start and the most difficult. The layout is fun with island holes and elevated tees. Complaints are the bunkers are rock hard and the driving range is useless.

The course is fairly long and overall well maintained. The course is fun and the fairways wide. The reason I gave a 4 rating is because the bunkers are as hard as rock and the driving range is unusable. I will play here again.

The 9-min time they allotted for each tee time start needs to be changed. We waited 10-15 min for each hole and it never got better. Knowing that they had shotgun tournaments today and it being a weekend, the start tee times really need to be longer apart, I think they should not be so “greedy” to make money and get as many green fees as possible. The enjoyment was definitely not there for such a beautiful course! Worse of all was the wait time at their “signature” hole, we waited close to 30 mins to tee off. There were 4 groups of four-somes and 1 group of a three-some waiting ahead of us by the time we finished our hole and was ready to tee off. Maybe a Marshall should be stationed there?!?!

Had a great time at Eagle Vines yesterday.

Gol course was in good condition fairway to greens, Tees were not in great shape. Sand was good. Rough was pretty think. Fairways did not give a lot of roll as they were cut maybe a little higher than I've seen before. Maybe that is due to the heat? Beer was cold and food

was great in the restaurant. All in all, a fun day.

The greens and green complexes were more or less perfect. Good rough to fringe ratio and fairly cut. The playable areas of the fairways were OK, but anything off the normal play areas were not perfectly maintained. I know, I know....hit the fairway....but the off areas could be simply mowed or watered.

Facilities and employees were awesome.
